Bad shop keeper

Hello guys, Poring's nuffies farming thread is here. And of course it's story time

So, around 11 am (GMT+7) today, I went to a showroom. In that showroom's website, they said they have both Lamborghini Urus and Bentley Bentayga. Both are SUV cars that I was thinking to buy. Because I was considering to buy a Lamborghini Urus (but in Canada), I went to that showroom to see both cars in reality.

After I parked my car, I came in to the showroom. After looking for some times, I ask one of the employee where's the SUV section. The conversation goes like this :

Me : excuse me
Employee : yes, is there anything I can help you?
Me : I was looking for SUV cars, where is it?
Employee : I'm sorry, we don't have SUV cars in this showroom
Me : but in your website, there are SUV cars
Employee : I'm really sorry, but we really don't have SUV cars.

When we are talking, a senior employee came and ask what am I looking for.

S.E : hello Mister and mistress. What can I help you?
Me : we are looking for SUV cars, but he said this showroom don't have it, even though your website said otherwise
S.E : if you're looking for Urus and Bentayga, we do have them. Is that what you are looking for?
Me : yes
S.E : then, please this way

After that, there's no other problem. I don't know if that employee is new or what, but I do knows that he is a bad employee. If you're working in a company, showroom, or even a shop, please at least knows what you're selling.

After that, I went back to my house.

Note : holy cow, Lamborghini Urus is really expensive in Indonesia. They want about $600k for it. I have talked with a shop in Canada about it, and the new Urus is only around $350k in that shop

Edit: I’ve had something similar happen to me though in my case they were very clearly new.

You're making me drool with all that pocket money. Why? Imagine all the luxury "unhealthy" food I can buy, eat, and drink with all that. I think the employee was new, because if the employee wasn't, surely the employee would guide you to the site. I mean, $600 K is a lot, and someone looking to buy a vehicle with the price range, shouldn't be discouraged or misinformed, rather they should be welcomed for the profit they can give to the company.

 

Probably the same guy. He probably thought you asked if there's SUV in shower room

Wait, you are Canadian? Ya sure? Surely, Canadian system has a better education system than US?

And ye, those cars don't look appealing. Is it the Brand brag that appeals? The design looks boring.

As for the 'bad shopkeeper'. If the employee is someone that is responsible for the reception. He/she might not have a clue about the different car brands in the shop. His/her specialization might be elsewhere.

Also, why the heck did the Senior Employee approach with " Hello Mister and Mistress " when you were alone? And were you cheating if you weren't alone since it was a Mistress?

Did that first employee seem... doubtful to your question or deadsure they had no SUVs?

The first one might mean he's just too new or doesn't know exactly how the store 'defined' SUVs.
The second one might be that he has a misunderstood idea of what SUVs are, and thus mistaken about their existence there.
