I enjoy baking. Yes it's odd for a guy I know. But when I find a recipe I like I just can't leave it alone and I try different things to make it yummier (doesn't always work). Nah don't worry, I'm a guy who loves baking too. Currently trying to replicate that coconut panna cotta tart from Zumbo's Just Dessert (unsuccessfully).
I like cooking, some of the stuff I make requires you to make 2-3 things first, i.e. a slice recipe I have needs plain sweet biscuits.
I have a butter chicken sauce that my family thinks is spot on. Took ages to get it right. All the recipes I found on the net weren't just right. I guess the restaurant isn't going to let you know what their recipe is.
I do, but I prefer following Japanese/Korean channels due to usage of metric system. I find cups and etc to be less accurate
I dislike the recipes is from the US. Having to convert to metric. Then things like butter is 'stick'. How do you convert that? Lol. And where I live we can't get corn syrup and stuff like that.
A guy that can cook is always a plus in my book. May it be baking or usual cooking, a talent in the kitchen is always a welcomed thing. And nope, I don't really think it's a strange. (who cares about strange when the food is yummy? )
Ai-chan can only bake a cake. Ai-chan wants to try baking bread too so that Ai-chan can write about that baker love triangle story, but Ai-chan has been lacking motivation.

Unrelated with bakings but I often experiment with instant ramen to produce various taste. From adding other ingredients to using different cooking techniques
Baking bread are actually simpler. Though i admit there's a bit of muscle work to it. Where bread are concerned we can just toss whatever into it and it still come out edible. Cake need more delicate measurement to come out okay.
I love to bake too! But breads are so far a failure for me because I try to knead by hands but always under-kneads them because.... iamanunactivepersonwhomostlyliesdownonbedanddoesnthavemuchstrength
Speaking of baking. Have you ever had carrot cake? Is it good? I went to quite a few bakeries but never found one. Hm...
