Me too, too bad the author butchered such a good piece of work with all his plot holes. Personally, I can take it if it’s a bit but it reached a limit where I couldn’t stand it anymore (I’m specifically talking about the part about his soul being injured and having a never ending half a year time limit to wait for his mom to get the medicine).
I just put up with it and fill in the gaps with common sense (especially how the author says one thing and then says another, dunno if translation mistake but TL puts in notes about how author not making any sense soooo...) But I just put up with it because it's decent and there really aren't that many decent novels that are mainly focused on beast companions. It sparks my inner Pokemon desire.
I agree, the flow is a bit weird but I could still put up with it, I could put up with a lot but such a MAJOR plot hole.. I just couldn’t continue anymore
