Ha I have read many good novels with subpar endings but finally talisman emperor gave a rare perfect ending . The one thing I hated in CN is the ending is always rushed . For 2k+chapter they will end it vaguely or they will put up some unrelated shit but not Talisman emperor it has such a satisfying ending the story becomes one of my all time fav I would recommend this story

Tell me what is your favorite novel in terms of ending ?

    Mushoku Tensei ending
Rudy till the very end, just someone strong within human limitations. It kinda real as he from a living legend end up as myth, long after he died, even his friend still being believed as once a living figure, his achievements quite vary that people doubt such a person exist and act as important pivot for those figures

i guess Tate Yuusha and mushoku tensei,
there is no a single CN ending that i like,
KR are either rushed or feel incomplete, EER is quite nice
well the manga Kareshi Kanojou no Jijou ending is good. i like closed-end ending.
    Clannad is good as well

Some people can read until the end...
While some people only can wait for TL...

Only CN novel I have completed so far is WMW, it's ending wasn't really an ending either.

MC just continues his journey for truth.

Both To Be A Virtuous Wife and Eight Treasures Trouseau had really good endings that weren't rushed.

If I really like a book, then I wish for there to be no ending.

Ending was pretty enjoyable, especially the epilogue which brought everything together and ended on a high note.

Really? That's the one thing you hated in CN?

I don't think I've especially loved any endings for novels, except maybe for an untranslated R-18 novel I read recently with such an appropriate and satisfying ending that I would rate it five stars even though it would have been 2-3 stars the chapter before it ended. I dunno, though, if a novel has a bad ending I can just imagine it ended the way I want (like when the protagonist picks the worst girl of the waifu war, Araragi I'm looking right at you).

    Personal opinion, yes, i am not yet find a satisfying ending from;
Kr; most complete novels quite rushed with almost nonsense power up near the end of story
Cn; most ended when mc beat final boss and either become the strongest or continued to higher realm
I am not yet finished any jp novels since personality wise, jp mc not really suit my taste because either they are passive, beta, or pervert and thats quite something for me. Any references?
Noted that i read novels that translated by human translator, not mtl

we are talking about ending, right? not the story itself, so SPOILER ALERT

5-chapter epilogue, even giving several minor characters a a short scene of their own. also, none of the minor harems forgotten. but the best line, is the final spokenn line, which turn out to the title.

the mc didn't left his harem 'unploughed'. so he properly left the beta title behind.

mc came back to the city secretly, broke in to the heroine's house, packed her luggage, (including her drawers of special pantsu), and when she came back, they eloped.

while the ending itself are quite rushed, it is what mc did before final fight that i find satisfying. he split himself into several clones, and went all over the place, wrapping up loose ends. harems, friends, families.

The web novel version of Arifureta where Hajime challenged a god in order to get his 'da one'. Quite a good arc, I think.

Sorry but while Eight Treasures Trouseau had a decent ending it definitely was rushed, important scenes even happened completely offscreen.

The Bathroom Goddess. Every chapter paints a small part of the bigger picture, and the end ties it all up unexpectedly excellently.

Sevens for me has the best ending ever since I started watching anime, reading manga and reading novels.
I has emphasized a big importance on what's beyond ending, making every action to make the impossible goal achievable by using practicality and logical actions, it was like Hunter x Hunter when it comes to fighting, it was like Legend of the Galactic Heroes for its Political Intrigue and Goal Setting, it was like Spice and Wolf for its Economic and Business elements, it was like Monogatari Series for its Harem elements, and for me, it might be exaggerating but it was also similar to Lord of the Rings for its Epic Wars, combining these stories makes a great ending.

If there are stories that starts with big impression, Sevens was the reverse but it was pretty solid since foreshadowing the ending from the very first volume is not something I usually see, it's a zero to hero plot style, that's why people will always think that it started from the lowest impression to highest impression it can get(that's why I call it reverse), but for me, the quality of the story starts and maintaining that quality till the end
