    Ok. I also like Reverend Insanity especially the beginning. So trust my taste and try Death scripture - intelligent, plotting and generally ruthless protagonist that climbs his way to the top of the power hierarchy and solves the mistery of his family's tragedy.
    A completely different one Tales of herding gods - the tension is also tragedy-driven but its feel is more entertaining; it is full of witty remarks, flexes and a lot of comedic moments.

    I definitely don't recomend mediocre novels like AWE, Grasping evil, other stuff by er gen except maybe issth, PW and ffs WMW is not a hidden gem since it is The iconic novel for evil protagonists.
