    Has anyone been to this?

I recently went to big bad wolf book sale and only bought 4 books. I couldn't find books of some popular authors I liked, so I just bought those that caught my eye. I dont have a car so, 4 books were heavy enough.

I saw some people has a cart of books and was just wondering how much books your average nufian would buy. Or people here just likes free stuff in the net?

Ps: For those who don't know, big bad wolf is a book sale fair where books (western books) are 50%-90% off.

Have not heard of it :D

The time I bought the most books was years ago I had been on holiday and having run out of books had bought second hand a random book from each of David Edding's The Malloreon and The Elenium series.

So when I got back I immediately went out and bought all of the books in the The Belgariad, The Malloreon and The Elenium. (The Tamuli was not out yet or I would have bought that as well:rolleyes: )

So that was 11 books to carry home. :D

Nowadays I only buy ebooks :( I don't think I have bought a physical book in the last 4 years.:(

I used to read a lot more literature before I found this junk food crap that I'm addicted to now. So if you asked me before - I'd buy whatever caught my fancy depending on how much cash I had to blow. Now - I'd rather MTL junk.

I usually buy stuff when promos like BBW happens.

    When I do buy :
1-2 is enough for books to read.
4+ on other stuff like notebooks, utensils and the cool stuff.

I'm waiting for the next BBW to happen in my place.

Even when I read western literature it was mostly borrowed from the library anyway, only books I ever really bought was one of the HP books and the first two books in the Eragon series.

I used to buy lots of books at BBW because of the huge discounts. But I rarely buy any now unless those books are old series that are not in any epub circulation sites. Like @GonZ555 I also don't have any place to store those books so I rather keep it in e-format instead.

First time I went to the bookstore to note down the book names I found interesting and went home to read about its review, end up not buying any as there is a free version on the internet and most of the "bestseller" are not that good for my precious money. Nowadays I only bought the collection of classic authors who were my fav.

I consider 10 to be the ones I read, the rest is just from school or etc. I want to collect more but don’t want to be clottered/ hoarder so I will be doing ebooks but i have no memory space either :blobwoah:
