Well, i once read a manga about it where i then ended up with reading the novel, but its saved on a broken Smartphone so i cant find it anymore. Now to the novel, it's about a freshly married couple in Japan(?) around 1800s, the wife came to her husbands home with nothing but the clothes on her back and the ML was pretty much desinterested in the marriage. The wife Was more or less devolved into a hunchback-bootlicker to All because of her upbringing and ML slowly bends her back. The only other 3 things i remember are: all of wife mothers posessions were burned by someone in her family, the ML was an official if i remember correctly, and pretty loaded too and the whole 11(if my memory serves right, could be more) chapters were embedded in PDF format by translator.
It kinda reminded me of " My Blissful Marriage ", i don't know if it's the one that you're looking for though.
