Think of them as like Tickets that are used to exchange for the items of the people’s desire.

Book 1 Chapter 8: The Book of Darkness and Light, Along with All of the Between

A month had passed by since Chu Meng Yi had opened that store in Clear Sea Town.

And true to his prediction, the town’s population increase by more than 140% once news travels to other towns and villages within a mere week - which was only 91 days. People started to travel to Clear Sea Town with their families members and friends. There was even a whole village that came to Clear Sea Town. Although, that village only has about 90 people. They still all came to Clear Sea Town and start a small shop here. They can do this because there was no one to endorse them. If there was someone who could and would endorse them, then it would be impossible for the whole village to abandon their village. Not only would doing that cause their endorser to kill them, but it would also cause a lot of legalization issues.

Even in a lawless world like this, there is legalization here too.

The sights of merchants from other towns coming to Clear Sea Town were now a normal sight. At first, the sight of people crowding toward the gate of this town scared the residents but they got used to it after a couple of days. The inns that were for the higher classes were the first to be full. Next, was the middle class and then soon enough, even the no-name inns were filled.

For people who have lands and houses for rent, this time, they earned a lot of money for renting their houses to other people. Earning 5 to 7 golds per week was the minimum. So, you can say the income of the town itself has increased by the number of people that are coming to this town.

So far, Chu Meng Yi hasn’t done anything too reality-breaking yet. Well, at least not to the town’s people.

He couldn’t say the same to the people who are under him though. Not that they can complain- if they have any.

Yu Feng now looked a bit more like his age now and not an underage kid with nutrition problems.

Due to the training that Yu Ying made him go through, Yu Feng started to gain little muscles and his skin started to grow healthier. The way that he carries himself was now more confident in himself.

Due to how busy the store was, Yu Ying had to hire more people to work within the store. But, those people will have to meet the requirement that Chu Meng Yi gives out. And those people were the orphans that Yu Ying had scouted out from before.

The first day that Yu Ying went to talk to them, the kids cried in fear and in distrust. It wasn’t because Yu Ying was scary but rather, it was because Yu Ying was a cultivator. And the cultivators in this town were known to be assholes toward mortals.

The cultivators in this town, or this world for that matter, don’t like to interact with mortals. There were a couple of reasons but mainly, they just don’t like weaker beings.

So, for Yu Ying to... Well... being nice to them caused a lot of suspicion from the kids.

Still, Yu Ying was made from Mari’s bones. And Mari was one mother-hen. So, it didn’t take the kids that long to fall in love with Yu Ying. Afterward, Yu Ying had introduced them to Chu Meng Yi.

One look at Chu Meng Yi and it was enough for the kids to start calling him Master. Even with Chu Meng Yi’s expressionless face on, it seems that the kids were sensitive enough to notice that he wasn’t like the other people in Clear Sea Town, who look down upon them. However, they do steer clear of Li Youran, instinctually, due to fear and from Li Youran’s glares.

Since then, Chu Meng Yi had been patiently teaching them how to read and write. Of course, this was with help from pills and meds. Otherwise, it would be impossible for the kids to learn this fast.

Due to being able to concoct pills, potions, and meds at level 3, Chu Meng Yi can make up to 200 Wisdom Pills, 250 Intelligent Potions, and 50 Memorization Meds for the kids.

This made it so easy for the kids to learn what Chu Meng Yi had in mind for them. Within a week, they had memorized 1000 characters/words, within two weeks they had known the usages of 1000. They were able to write up to 1000 words and able to critical think up the philosophy thinking of a 3rd Grade schooler in modern-day Earth society. Their basic knowledge will still need more help but they were hardworking. So, such things won’t take much time in the long run.

The only thing that’s not going as well as the training for their chosen profession was their job. To be specific, their chosen professions' job.

The professional arts weren’t something that can be learned instantly. Well, for those that weren’t Chu Meng Yi, that is.

Chu Meng Yi doesn’t have to worry about martial arts since none of the kids were suitable for combat. What he has to worry about and teaches them were the 9 professional arts. Each person can only learn one art, such was what Chu Meng Yi limited them to. Well, for now at least. They need to get to at least a basic grading of level 3 for him to allow them to put their time into the other art professions.

Cooking, Fishing, Skinning, Foraging, Prospecting, Farming, Leatherworking, Tailoring, and Woodcrafting were the profession that Chu Meng Yi has allowed them to take in their first 5 years of learning.

Of course, for cooking, things like beast knowledge, herb knowledge, water knowledge, temperature knowledge, fire knowledge, and things like that were required to get the basics done. Like cooking, the other profession has its own requirements.

    There were 50 kids total.

12 of the kids have chosen woodworking as their profession. 3 has chosen leatherworking, 5 has chosen tailor(seamstress), 7 has chosen cooking(Chef), 6 has chosen fishing(Angler), 4 has chosen foraging(Gathering), 5 has chosen Skinning(Dismantling), and 2 has chosen to prospect - in another word Mining, and the rest, 6, has chosen farming as their profession.

The kids that chose Fishing, Skinning/Dismantling, Foraging, and Prospecting were taught by Yu Ying. They go out of town, to the nearby forest for their classes. As for the kids who have chosen farming, cooking, leatherworking, tailoring, and woodworking, they were with Chu Meng Yi.

3 days of the week, they come back to Clear Sea Town. The rest of the weekday was spent over at Chu Meng Yi’s home.

Chu Meng Yi wasn’t planning on teaching them magical and spiritual farming. However, the lands that are within the circumference of his house were already very - a little bit too much in their opinion - nutritious for farming that there was no need to teach them anything. It was a grade A+ land with an abundant amount of nutrition for all kinds of farming and plants so farming in those land was far too easy. Thus, there was no need to teach them anything.

Chu Meng Yi bought the other lands from Clear Sea Town, too. So he was the rightful owner of the land surrounding his house now.

That’s about 25 acres more land on each side of the mansion- making it a total of 100 more acres of land as his, owned. When the kids learned that he bought those lands for them to use, they all kneel down and cried. Of course, Chu Meng Yi stops them from doing that but the kids didn’t listen.

Since then, the kids all preferred to live in the land that Chu Meng Yi assigned to them. Even though it was very scary living so near to the two forbidden forests, it was also very comfortable to live there too.

Chu Meng Yi had built them each a small two-story cabin house. The first floor has the living room, kitchen, washroom, and bathrooms. The second floor was the bedroom and storage room. That’s it. As for the workshops, that’s a separate house.

Chu Meng Yi made it a large workshop for a cook’s kitchen, leatherworking room, tailoring hall, and woodworking workshop. The dimension of the workshop was about 38 meters by 54 meters, with a height of 3 meters tall. The workshop was large but it was being divided into four sectors for cooking, leatherworking, tailoring, and woodworking so the size was just right.

The area for cooking was farthest away from the leatherworking area. This was so that the agents from tanning leather don’t infuse with the smell from cooking. You really don’t want to smell the smell from leather tanning. It was not a good smell. As a result, there’s a stovetop countertop and a brick oven inside it.

The area for leatherworking was to the other farthest corner of the workshop. Then the area for woodworking and tailoring were next to each other, between the kitchen and the leatherworking area.

The workshop was divided into four sectors, so between each area, was a storage closet for their types of equipment and tools.

By the time that Chu Meng Yi was done with furnishing the workshops with tools and types of equipment, the kids have already finished their first two weeks of lessons on mannerism, reading and writing, and basic math.

Why was it taking Chu Meng Yi so long to get everything? Well, truth be told, the equipment and tools that Chu Meng Yi used for himself were all modern tools made into magical tools that Li Youran made himself.

Li Youran won’t let Chu Meng Yi make this same kind of tool for the kids so Chu Meng Yi had to do something different. Their tools and equipment weren’t as modernized as his but it was far more efficient than the tool of this world. Not only that, they were far easier to use and control.

So, it took a while for Chu Meng Yi to make everything. Not only that, but he also has to make the tool into mortal tools so that the kids can use it without mana or spiritual qi. As a result, yes, it took him a while.

Even though the tools and equipment that Chu Meng Yi made were slightly weak in his opinion, the truth of the matter was that it was very strong. Even though it was just normal mortal tools.

The kids happily let Chu Meng Yi and Yu Ying teach them their chosen arts.

Just like that, three years passed by like that in a blink of an eye.

Chu Meng Yi’s Skills had increased a lot by the end of the third year, making it eight years since he came to this world.

His current skills were like this:

    |Skill: Writing (SSS+), Cooking (AAA), Fishing (A+), Skinning (A+), Gathering (B+), Foraging (B), Prospecting (B), Farming (A), Crystal Inspection and Cutting (A+), Leatherworking (B), Tailoring (A), Alchemy (A+), Armor Smithing (B+), Jewelry Works (C), Woodcrafting (A+), Inscriptions(S), Seals (S-), Talisman Creation (S), Elementals Affinities(SSS-)|

As the grades go from [A little Less than Average Grade] to [Mastery Understanding]. It goes from A-minus to A-plus as the tier of each grade. This was the settling that Chu Meng Yi had set it to for better understanding.

The actual one was far too long and far too detailed. So, he changed it with Little Bee.

    If using the actual grading that Li Youran had used, it would look like this instead;

    |Skill: Writing (SSS Rank 1), Cooking (AAA rank2 ), Fishing (A rank 3), Skinning (A rank 3), Gathering (Brank 3), Foraging (B rank 2), Prospecting (B rank 2), Farming (A-rank 4 ), Crystal Inspection and Cutting (A rank 3), Leatherworking (B rank 2), Tailoring (A rank 2), Alchemy (A rank 3), Armor Smithing (B rank 3), Jewelry Works (C-rank 2), Woodcrafting (A rank 3), Inscriptions (S rank 2), Seals (S rank 1), Talisman Creation (S rank 2), Elementals Affinities(SSS rank 2)|

Except that with Li Youran's ranking above, it goes all the way from Rank 1 to Rank 12. Within each rank, there's another grade too. Low, Mid, High, and Peak. This was far too complicated for this world so Chu Meng Yi changes the settling to only three grades. Low, Mid, and High. This includes only rank 1 through 3, not the rest of the ranks. Of course, to make sure that the measurement between each rank was accurate enough for this world, Chu Meng Yi made sure that he would always stop before reaching a higher realm.

With teaching the kids and making things to sell in town, Chu Meng Yi’s level increase far more than Li Youran thought it was going to. Li Youran had to hold back a sigh. Really, his Yi'er was still his Yi'er. Such a thing was so normal for him.

Now a day, Chu Meng Yi’s store was so famous that people all the way from the capital come to buy things from it. The capital cities - which take around 5 months of normal traveling or 3 weeks of flying nonstop, came all the way over to Clear Sea Town because of Chu Meng Yi’s store. Those that can buy without doing missions, buy it and sell it three to five times more expensive in the capital or other larger cities. Some merchants made it their goal to hire as many people to buy as many of products from Chu Meng Yi’s store as possible.

This created a job the people called “Reseller”. The merchants would hire people to buy things from Little Bee’s Store, Restaurant, and Bath House for them and they will pay a certain percentage of their earnings to them.

Clear Sea Town had turned into a large metropolitan city that rivals one of the ten largest cities in this country. It might soon turn into one of the largest and most populated cities in this continent if this continues, that Chu Meng Yi had no doubt. Give it enough time, and soon enough, this town will turn into a large city.

The population was easily ten times more populated than before. The Town’s Wall was expanded outward. The new houses were built, using Chu Meng Yi’s store as an inspiration.

Apartment complexes started to appear in this world. This helped the town’s population’s housing a lot. The people’s living hood had raised high enough that there are lesser and lesser orphans around now a day. More jobs were being created each day of the week, causing the traffic flows in this town to increased even more.

The people who can cultivate in Clear Sea Town had increased by at least ten times as much as before. This caused Clear Sea-Town to be one of the most advancing town-city in this continent easily.

The nearby villages and towns death toll numbers had also decreased by a lot due to the increasing amount of practitioners. This was because as each sect recruits more members, the resources that they need and fight over was a godsend. Fighting for reputation, fighting for jobs, fighting for resources such as job requests and saving lives caused by the beasts from the surrounding forest. This caused the death tolls from the surrounding villages near Clear Sea Town and the nearby towns to decreased by a lot.

As the results, the birthrates increased and the mortality rate decrease too. This caused the population in the Far West of this Empire to increase by more than 50% in a mere five years. The population of the Far West has always been very low. This was due to the resource there and its location. However, ever since Chu Meng Yi opened that store, everything changes.

In the past 5 years, that’s 80 months or 7200 days, Clear Sea Town’s specialist had been the fruits and products from Chu Meng Yi’s store and the fishes that this town has, the Clear Fish. Due to the store, the foods in Clear Sea Town was a lot cheaper compared to other towns. And new dishes were invented every week. This made it look like the town was a festival every day. The people that came to visit increased by more than 500%. People who started to live in this town was even more frightenedly high.

This town was so flourished, so much that, they had to expand the town’s wall by another 125 miles away from the previous wall. More apartments were built, more roads were constructed, more water gates and wells were created once every 5 miles apart from each other, and god knows what else was being created inside Clear Sea Town.

However, to do this, the Town’s Lordship had hired more than three million people and 200 cultivators to helped cleared the surrounding forest. The beasts that reside within those forests would be tamed into pets... for some lucky fellow. Others would be killed for the resources it gives.

This plan had token 13 months to fully developed and finished.

According to this plan, the first plan was to increase the thickness of the wall surrounding Clear Sea Town. This plan alone had taken 13 months to implement fully.

Next was the housing planning parts.

What? Do you think that without housing, people would be able to live?

Of course, for this part to happen, there were a lot more preparations that need to be done. In fact, this part was already happening when the first plan was in mid-stage.

Thus, before anything else, Huo Fong Lin had already made a move.

The Town’s Lord, Huo Fong Lin, has asked for Yu Ying’s opinion. The lord of this town doesn't have much of a choice because there was no one to endorse this town before. And now, no one dear to endorse it because of Chu Meng Yi's store. As they all knew that whoever was behind this store, was no someone that they can offend. Even the Royalty in this Kingdom itself decided to leave it alone.

Why? Because of the Prince that was supposed to endorse this town, Prince Yi Tianyu, the 13th Prince of this Cloud Empire Kingdom. The one that the Shui Clan's subordinate under. To be specific, the Huo Clan was a vessel of the 13th Prince. So, that prince should have taken care of this town a long time ago. Only, he wasn't interesting.

That Prince was very smart and sensitive. So, he let go of Clear Sea Town [Qīnghǎi zhèn]. Because he doesn't have the ability or power to endorse this town. Before, it was because he wasn't interested in it. But now, it was because he cannot afford it. As a result, this Town has turned into an Independent Town. Out of Control of the government of this world. And was more of a Free-Trade City than anything else.

The tax was lower and property management becomes a thing. As a result, the crime rate within this Town was the lowest that anyone had ever seen. Why? Because criminal cannot go inside Chu Meng Yi's store. And no one wanted that. So, crimes such as rape, murder, thief, etc, was near none-existed.

Don't think that this was a good thing. All of these changes caused the Lord of this town to have a headache so bad that he got white hair overnight. Hou Fong Lin wasn't old. He was only in his mid- 30. And men in this world have a very strong physical appearance, so for his hair to turn white overnight, the stress and work that he has to do were.... astonishingly high.

Yu Ying then asked for his master’s opinion. This was the first meeting between Huo Fong Lin and Chu Meng Yi. Meeting Chu Meng Yi was a guaranteed for Huo Fong Lin to meet Li Youran.

Well, if Huo Fong Lin falls in love with Li Youran at first sight, Chu Meng Yi won’t say that he’s fickle. Because, damnit, Li Youran’s look alone was enough to cause this world to collapse at his feet, with nothing but his looks alone.

There was a reason why Chu Meng Yi’s store has more females than males, after all.

Of course, all it takes for Huo Fong Lin to get his heart broken was a glare from Li Youran and the sight of Li Youran kissing Chu Meng Yi passionately for him to get it.

Chu Meng Yi didn’t talk much with the Town’s Lord because Li Youran had pulled him away. But it was enough for him to somewhat judges his character.

Huo Fong Lin wasn’t a bad lord. So, Li Youran’s action just causes Chu Meng Yi to roll his eyes internally before telling Yu Ying to give the man the blueprints for a wood and stone apartment complexes. Which was where the apartment complexes came from.

Since then, the newly expanded part of the town has a lot of apartment complex being built. Those apartments complexes weren't the same as those that were built on Earth. These apartments were built to meet the standard for a cultivation world's needs. Each apartment was graded from 1 to 5 in terms of usefulness to cultivators.

Grade 1 apartments were meant for the mortals. There was nothing special about it aside from the way how it was built. Each apartments' floors were built to be like a duplex, meaning that each floor will only have 2 residential apartment; with each residential housing from individually to a family of 7.

For residential apartment room for individual, each floor was divided differently. Depending on how rich you are, the room could be as spacey as 16' by 20' to 28' by 36' easily. From a one bedroom to five bedrooms, residential built for an individual was slightly smaller than for a family complex.

For family complex, not only was the wall more sturdier, the foundation was made for more weight. Each room was slightly larger in dimension and there was more closet for storage purposes. Other than that, the security was also more advance comparing to the individual complex apartment. Not only that, in the family complex apartment, there's a large spacey room that takes a whole floor. This was because that floor will be used as a general store for that apartment complex. Making the people who lived there live an easier life.

As a result, the family sized complexes was the one that people demanded the most.

Oh, have I forgot to mention that each apartment residential have their own terrace for gardening, too? That space was enough to cultivate 4 Square-Foot gardens easily.

So, it made sense that more people were willing to rent the family complex apartment more than the individual complex apartment.

As for the other higher grade apartment complexes, they were built very differently from the grade one apartment complexes. Materials-wise, method wise, foundation wise, and location wise were all different.

A grade 2 apartment complex was built with one room that has a Low-Grade spirit gathering formation inscribed inside. A grade 3 would have two rooms that have the Low-Grade spirit gathering formation inscribed inside. A grade 4 would have 3 rooms with such formation inscribed in. Grade 5 would have 4 rooms that have inscribed with the Low-Grade Spirit Gathering Formation.

Depending on the grade of the apartment, ranging from 1 to 10, the price varies so widely that only the rich can afford them.

Grade 1 apartments were all paid in mortal currency; Copper Coin, Silver Coin, and Gold Coin.

Grade 2 apartment and above were all paid in Jingshi. Ranging from 10 Low-Grade Jingshi to 500 Low-Grade Jingshi per month for the individual complexes ones. From 50 Low-Grade Jingshi to 1000 Low-Grade Jingshi per month for the family complex apartment. With each grade, the price rise to another level.

Why were the people so willing to pay for those houses? It was because with the inscribed formation inside such houses, be it the Mana Gathering Formation or the Spirit Gathering Formation, the rate that they can absorb the mana and spiritual qi into their body increased by a lot. Normally, it would take an average of 5 to 10 years for a Spiritual Qi cultivator to cultivates to the Foundation Establishment stages. Yet, inside those inscribed rooms/apartments, it would only take at most 2 years. This caused every cultivator to seek out those houses for rent like a madman.

So far, all of the orphans that were living in the houses that Chu Meng Yi built for them were all living in a grade 4 cabin houses. Even though they were only mortal, the amount of mana and spiritual qi that they made contact with was enough for their offspring- I mean child- to easily learn how to sense spiritual qi and the mana in the air. This was a great thing for them. However, all of the children also knew that if other people found out, then they would scheme on them. So, they all quietly decided to only marry each other. That way, outsider won't know of their body's condition.

While the town was increasingly flourishing, Chu Meng Yi was also getting more and more... skillful with his skills. If this Chu Meng Yi was a game character, the skill proficiency that he gained each time he used those skills would be between 10-20 each, while other characters would gain 1-2 each. This was the rate that his skills growth.

As his skills got higher and higher, Chu Meng Yi found out that he... got bored really easily once there was no more challenge. This was only after seven years has passed since Chu Meng Yi got to this world, and he had already gotten bored.

Seeing the boredom on Chu Meng Yi's face, Li Youran's eyebrows start twitching. Li Youran: “...” Not good, Yi’er’s bad another side of his personality was coming back...

While Chu Meng Yi was feeling utterly bored as he lay lazily over the sofa inside their private room on top of the store, he didn’t see that for some reason, Li Youran’s expressionless face was turning slightly pale.

The reason was simple. Li Youran was recalling the first times when Chu Meng Yi was feeling bored back in his previous, original, life. That was when they had only been married for a couple of thousand years in their original world. Li Youran recalled vividly that it was right after Yi'er had created a new Dan pill for increasing the lifespan of Immortal Spirit Realm Cultivators by another forty thousand years.

And what happened after that time?

... hahahahaha... Yi’er created a fucking damn sect!

    That was what!

Someone like Yi'er who had never joined a sect before nor was he interested in joining a sect, created a damn sect... Yeah. He was damn bored. Alright...

Of course, it was only for a couple of hundred years but that sect was still standing today, you know?!

Yi’er left that sect behind when he went to the higher realms. But the thing was- even till today, that sect was still standing! That’s more than eons ago! More than a hundred planet was born and more than ten worlds have already ended. And yet, that sect that Yi'er created back then was still standing even to today!

... Yi’er, please don’t go and create another sect in this world too!

To Li Youran’s relief, Chu Meng Yi didn’t create a sect.

Instead, Chu Meng Yi had this tense look within his eyes and he stopped going to Clear Sea Town. He stops teaching the kids and lets them learn their second profession themselves with their peers and Yu Ying.

He assigned Yu Ying to watch over the store and the kids, and then went back to their base, and closed the door off. Even the kids can't come inside the inner sector of their lands. Instead, the kids live in their own assigned land, farming and practicing their professions with Yu Ying.

Li Youran got curious- truly, he was damn worried- so he watches Yi’er’s action like a hawk preying on prey... only to see that Yi’er wasn’t doing anything but writing.

At first, Li Youran watches as Chu Meng Yi went and cuts down three large trees. He watches as Chu Meng Yi turns those trees into spiritually infused papers and used those papers to write stories... Long stories.

No, sorry. It wasn't that simple. In fact, Li Youran had to watch as Chu Meng Yi went through a period of mental fortitude advancing for 10 minutes before he decided that he needs to write. Next, Li Youran followed Chu Meng Yi to their backyard- which was the two Forbidden Forest and planted 10 seeds. Li Youran recognized those tree seeds right away.

Those seeds were given to him by Li Youran himself. So of course, he would recognize it.

He watches as Chu Meng Yi planted those trees and cultivates them himself from a seed to a tall mature ancient tree. All within 5 hours.

Li Youran’s eyes widen as he watches the profound aura and sensitivity keenness coming from Chu Meng Yi. Every word that he writes, the aura surrounding his change. Sometimes, the aura was pleasant, sometimes cold, sometimes mad, sometimes enrage, on and on, different kinds of emotions changed as the story that Chu Meng Yi writes continue on.

This made Li Youran both really curious and worried at the same time. He wanted to read what his Yi’er was writing but his more worried about Yi'er mental states. He had never read Yi’er’s work as an author before. So, to be honest, Li Youran was completely curious about it.

Just from reading the aura surrounding Yi’er, Li Youran had already known that whatever it was that he’s writing, it would be a very good and deep story.

And he was proven right after he finished reading the story that Yi’er wrote just now.

Li Youran’s shaking hands was proof of how frightening an Author Chu Meng Yi is. Yes, present tense intended.

Li Youran perks up at the exhausting Chu Meng Yi and feels his spines shiver in fear. Once again, his Yi’er had created something heavenly defying and Hellraising scary.

“This story doesn’t belong to me, as I was not the original author. But, I wanted to rewrite it in my own understanding so that I can read it later,” Yi’er had said when he was taking a small break time.

Seeing the concentrate of Yi’er’s face was very amazing when he was writing but it wasn’t what was truly frightening about his Yi’er. Li Youran does like seeing more of that looks on his face when he’s working and concentrating on something but he was also finding his skin crawling in shivers upon that thoughts too.

Li Youran had to stop himself from flinching when Yi’er aura change into bloodlust when he was writing. The sound of a pen and the smell of the blood ink were not helping Li Youran’s imagination. He had thought that as Yi’er’s husband from all these times/eons ago, he was used to Yi’er’s abnormal luck and strength already, but clearly, his insensitivity toward Yi’s abnormally was not as good as it was before. He could hide his surprise pretty well but it still caused Chu Meng Yi to look at him oddly.

Now, he knew why his Yi’er aura was so scary as he read the book called “ War and Romance of The Three Ancient Kingdoms.”

“Romance of The Three Kingdoms was a book by Luo Guanzhong as a Historical Fiction based on the three kingdoms in the 14th century of China. However, in the years 2010, the adaptation movies Three Kingdoms came out and I found out that the novel by Luo Guanzhong doesn’t feel complete. I don’t know why I feel that the Romance of the Three Kingdoms wasn’t completed - either in some sort of form or belief. However, I do know that I feel like The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber by Jin Yong also had some connection with the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, even though those two books were completed in different years.” Yi’er had said with a solemn and bitter look in his eyes. Recalling how he lost countless nights of sleep over the two movies and books.

“I wanted to read a book that has both sides of the spectrums from both books. So, I created this version. War and Romance of the Three Ancient Kingdoms. This book was a combine, refused, remade an alternative version of the two books - with a dark and light twisted to it. It was a book of death, life, revenge, love, sadness, adventures, politic, world-building, character growing, realization, riddles, temptation, discovery, transformation, sacrificing, and making choices... and a lot of comedy for a good laugh and face slapping.” Here, Chu Meng Yi suddenly turned very depressed, confused, and lost. Causing Li Youran to look at him with a deep look in his eyes.

“Li Youran, do you know that this book was the one book that had caused a lot of people to love me as an author but, also caused even more people to hate me?” Chu Meng Yi whispered softly as he closed his eyes and lay his arms over it. An aura of exhausting, tiredness, solemness and determination set form within Chu Meng Yi’s little frame. His mind was sharp and clear, a thousand different kinds of plotlines, setting, motifs, themes, and genres flashed by his mind. Causing a glint to flash by his eyes.

“The Three Ancient Kingdoms in this book was based on China, Korea, and Japan’s historical events. This book was meant to be a touching love story when I first write it. In the first 3 chapters, I realized that this book wasn’t right. So, I added the supernatural genre to it. Making this book a book of War between the Three Ancient Kingdoms - just with a supernatural aspect to the theme. In the beginning, it was a love story, but by the end of it, it was a book that caused a lot of people to both loves and hate me. You notice how nearly every character in the book was dead, right? Well, I’m sure that you can guess why... The Main Character in this book wasn’t complete in his growths of emotion, spiritual, and mentally wise.” Chu Meng Yi said as he closed his eyes and sighed out entirely.

On Li Youran’s hand was the thick book that Chu Meng Yi had finished writing. Li Youran’s expression was slightly pale and his hand was shaking a little. A small smile was on Li Youran’s lips but the smile look a little too sadist and dangerously dark.

Li Youran: “...” No, Yi’er. It's not that the Main Character of this book isn’t complete. Rather, it's because this book’s Main Character was based on... me. The me from before we met... The me who had not yet knows what love is. The me who... wasn’t right in the mind.

Li Youran took a deep breath before he gave the book back to Chu Meng Yi. His expression went back to normal.

Chu Meng Yi takes back the book. The cover of the book was made out of beast leather while the spine of the book was made out of jade bamboo. The paper itself was made from the Spiritual Heavenly Jade Trees that Li Youran had planted deep inside Chu Meng Yi’s farm as a repealing against Soul Monsters.

This world was only a rank F world, which was known to not have any Soul Monsters, but Li Youran had seen worlds that shouldn’t have a Soul Monsters to have one, before. Li Youran wasn’t going to take any chances anything when it involved his Yi’er’s wellbeings.

So, it wasn’t strange that this book was a heaven-defying book. No, if this book wasn’t a heaven-defying book then that means that something was wrong with it.

Birds die for food, humans will die for richness. However, the difference between birds and humans was that humans have hands and feet to earn and fend for what they need while birds search for food for survival due to having no other options. Greeds and survival were two different things.

If you let the temptation get to you, then that means that you aren’t fit to gain the knowledge of what this book has to offer. If you don’t have any temptation, then it simply means that there were other fated and destiny for you.

Li Youran almost wanted to laugh, because, of course, his Yi’er would take precaution over his works and responsibility.

If these warnings aren’t enough for whoever it was that was greedy enough, then, well, who was Li Youran to stop them from their stupidity?

Still, Li Youran placed another spell over the book, just in case.

Yi’er didn’t write this book for other people to read it, but - if someone was fated to know about it, then they were fated to know about it unless Yi’er says No. If he says no, then, well, it would be a No.

Li Youran looked at the very tired and exhausted Chu Meng Yi. Chu Meng Yi’s expression was totally unreadable to anyone who wasn’t Li Youran. But, his face was slightly pale, his eyes were slightly dark, his skin was a little bit tense and the aura around him just screamed out the weariness.

Li Youran’s eyes soften as he moved from his sitting position to beside Chu Meng Yi. He held the younger male in his arms tenderly. The way that he touches Chu Meng Yi was so soft and tender that had his Star Beast see him, the beast would have his jaws drop to the floor in surprise.

“Yi’er, do this happens every time that you wrote a long story?” Li Youran asked, feeling both proud and yet worried over his Yi’er.

Chu Meng Yi blinked his eyes in weariness as he look at the expressionless Li Youran. He nodded. Yes, this happens every time that he finished writing a series of stories. Because once he start writing a world as large and have that much of a foundation, Chu Meng Yi wouldn’t and couldn’t stop until at least halfway to the story.

Writing comes naturally to Chu Meng Yi - as he has a large and wide range of ideas. He doesn’t restrict himself to only certain genres nor does he limit himself when it comes to writing. So, when he started writing, Chu Meng Yi tends to be so focus that sometimes, he forgot to eat, drink, and do anything else asides from writing. This was why his cousins and uncles have to supervise him sometimes when he plans to write a book or series that had more than 200 chapters.

The last time that he forgot to inform his brothers and anyone else that he was going to be writing a mini-series for one of his online books, he collapsed from dehydration and caused his younger brother to break down the door to his apartment. Since then, his brother had bugged his apartment, houses, or whatever and wherever he lives since. This was so that they could come inside whenever he started to be too focused on writing. It was a Must Do.

Now, Chu Meng Yi didn’t need to worry that he might collapse from not drinking and eating since he’s not exactly a mortal anymore.

Had Li Youran known what was on his mind, the older male would have been pissed.

So far, Chu Meng Yi had written 18 long series, 26 mini-series, and countless other short stories. Series ranged from thick 2,000-3,000 pages long books, and mini-series ranged from 1000-2000 pages books each. The ones that he wrote online were mostly mini-short stories, with around 200-400 chapters long, around 3000-4000 characters(words) per chapter.

As for the rare physical books ones, those were for VIP members only. There were only two series that Chu Meng Yi let his uncle turn into physical books. “Moonlight in the Middle of Nowhere”, a modern-day Government vs. Mafia/Trials/Yakuza with a twist of Yuri and BL, that had a slight supernatural aspect to it. This series had already been completed- with 12 books, 2 short stories, and 2 Private stories, making it 220 chapters long and around 4000s pages per book.

The second one was slightly darker yet more serious. This book was called “Strange Love, Strange Hate, Strange Everything”. This book includes the darker sides of the government, the society itself, the people, the individuals, in all of the Characters - even the native ones have a slight dark past before. This book was slightly shorter than the other one but this one was far more famous. It sold out 2 days after print. Each book was already a lot expensive than other books out there. This series of books cost 1700-2000 Yuan per book while the other series was at 900 Yuan per book. And yet, with a limited copy of 350,000 copies for each series, it was sold out on the second day that it come out. There was a demand for more copies but since Chu Meng Yi said “No.” Nothing could be done about it.

Those two series were the longest that Chu Meng Yi had written so far. But now, the one that’s in his hand right now was the longest one. With 12,000 chapters and more than enough sides and supporting characters, every chapter was a journey and a half.

This was why Chu Meng Yi was very rich but was not a millionaire in his former life. Because he wasn’t planning on being one nor does he care about it. Things like money were just something that he rarely care about.

“This happens to you every time that you write?” Li Youran’s face was slightly intense as he asked Chu Meng Yi. Chu Meng Yi nodded his head. The writing wasn’t easy. It was physically and mentally tiring. Especially for someone like Chu Meng Yi who never writes any waste - kind of characters, ever. Every character that he had created had a personality, reasons, and purpose, can think for themselves no matter how small it was, and even if they were fate to die, they would be the ones that dug their graves themselves. It wouldn’t be something like a broken character’s bug that killed them.

All of his books are as solid as steel when it comes to their foundation. A little bit too strong, perhaps.

This was why the Book that Li Youran had just finished reading was so hated by the people but was also loved very fiercely too. Each character was so realistic and their emotions were so perfectly executed out and inside the book that millions, if not billions, of people, loves at least two to three characters from the book. So when they all died, leaving only a couple of characters left, millions of people hated Chu Meng Yi for it.

Li Youran kisses Chu Meng Yi’s forehead as he sends in some of his vitality into his head, causing Chu Meng Yi to groan out loud in relief as his headaches and exhaustion left his tired-out mind. His whole body relaxed as he closed his eyes and before he knew it, Chu Meng Yi was already in dreamland. Leaving Li Youran behind to look at his sleeping face.

    So defenseless, his Yi’er.

Li Youran’s eyes were warmed and soft as he look at Chu Meng Yi but when his eyes land on the book that he had just finished reading not 5 minutes ago, Li Youran’s eyes turned slightly dark and cold.

He looks at the book for a long time before waving his hand over it. This caused the book to shine brightly and soon enough, it was divided into 9 books. The aura surrounding the books surges brightly as an intense amount of mana conjugate over the books. The title soon changed slightly to something that’s more forbidden.

The title was now called “The Book of Darkness and Light, Along with All of the Between Part One.”

Li Youran was satisfied with this. Now, even if someone No-Good came upon this book, they won’t be able to learn the secret techniques and technology from within the books. Not only had Yi’er put a restriction over the book, but Li Youran has also put another requirement on to each part of the book. Now, unless someone was willing to collect all the books into one again, then the world within the book would never be open.

Using his eyes, Li Youran confirmed the abilities that the world book would give to its owner.

    Abilities granted upon completion:
    • Mental Fortitude Increase
    • Spirit Fortitude Increase
    • Physical Fortitude Increase
    • Instinct Increase
    • Perception Increase
    • Emotional perception Increase
    • Magic Space: 30-3000 sq. yard, depending on how perceptive the owner is.
    • Knowledge of; armed weapons, melee weapons, warfare weapons, and spiritual weapons.

Yeah. This book was something that everyone in this world would kill for.

Li Youran looks at Chu Meng Yi sleeping in his arms and he had to silently sigh in his heart.

‘Yi’er, once again, your luck is becoming a little too terrifying.’ Li Youran happily kissed Chu Meng Yi on his cheeks before he too started to ignore the books on the table, as he closed his eyes and pulled his Yi’er even more closer toward his chest. The older male then too closed his eyes for small naps.

The twelves books shine in resonance as they started to move around each other, quietly, like they were long-lost brothers and sisters who had once again met each other after a long time. They were so active and energetic around each other that it makes the atmosphere feel innocent and carefree. Even with all the movements from the books playing in the air, both Li Youran and Chu Meng Yi didn’t bother to wake at all.

The next morning, Chu Meng Yi woke up to the sleeping face of Li Youran.

He was nearly blinded from the handsomeness and beauty of Li Youran’s face first thing in the morning.

Yep, this face was really capable of destroying the world.

The peerless, flawless, skins of nearly pure white were so damn healthy that it looks even purer than a baby’s skin.

The eyelashes were longer than a woman's. At the end of the edge of each eyelash, there was a small sparkle ‘tip’ that look more or less like a diamond. Each root of the lashes was pure gold and yet, further away from the root, the lashes turned black while the tip turned white.

His lips were in a perfect blend of full and heart shape, looking totally kissable.

Chu Meng Yi admitted, even for someone like him who does not care about physical appearance, he still finds Li Youran to be very heavenly-defying just from his appearance. Luckily, he knew that Li Youran had placed a lot of spells over his physical appearance allure-ness already, otherwise, this face of his would really be the cause of this world’s collapse.

He didn’t even have to bother lifting a hand, anyone would be willing to do so for him if he just as much as shows interest in it.

Still, for the past 7 years of living with this man, Chu Meng Yi knew that this wasn’t his real appearance. This appearance was just something that this man had used for this world - because his real appearance was far more divining and holy.

When Chu Meng Yi was inside that Infinity Dynasty Hall, Li Youran had used his soul appearance to appear before Chu Meng Yi. Yet, for some reason, his appearance has no effect on Chu Meng Yi.

This was the first sign that caused Li Youran to be suspicious of who Chu Meng Yi is. In the end, Li Youran used his Eye to see Chu Meng Yi’s soul karma, Road, Fate, and Destiny, and he was able to notice that Chu Meng Yi and his Yi’er were one and the same.

Chu Meng Yi wasn’t his Yi’er reincarnation.

Chu Meng Yi was Yi’er himself - only with his memory and emotion sealed off because of that accident.

Chu Meng Yi didn’t notice that his hand had already started to play with Li Youran’s eyelashes.

    [NSFW CONTENT]

When Li Youran opened his eyes, it was to an absent-minded Chu Meng Yi playing with his eyelashes.

A small content smile graces Li Youran’s face as he contentedly watches his Yi’er play with his eyelashes.

He didn’t bother moving as he let his Yi’er continue to play with his eyelashes.

The atmosphere wasn’t awkward at all. There was this harmonious aura around them both.

A couple of hours passed by with nothing but Chu Meng Yi continuing to play with Li Youran’s eyelashes.

As time goes now, the way that Chu Meng Yi touches him started to change from innocently to curiosity and then, finally, to the point where his touches caused a fire to burn deep within Li Youran’s heart and blood. His eyes turned dark purple as they flashed with desires and longing.

This was a test of his Willpower and his restraining. However, no matter how much and long Li Youran told himself to restrain himself, once Chu Meng Yi inches his face a little too close to his own, his restraining snapped into nothing.

Before he knew it, Li Youran had already started kissing Chu Meng Yi with himself on top of him. His hands held tightly to Chu Meng Yi’s hands and his tongue was twisting around Chu Meng Yi’s tongue in a tug of war.

“...Mmmh...” Chu Meng Yi unknowingly let out a small groan. The groans were soft and light and yet, it was enough to cause another fire to lite inside Li Youran’s body and heart.

“Yi’er. Yi’er. Yi’er,” Li Youran started chanting Chu Meng Yi’s name as he stole his breath away with each deep and sensual kiss. With each chant, Li Youran buried his tongue deeper into Chu Meng Yi’s mouth, as if he was trying to mold their two tongues together, and hating that it wasn’t molding together as they moved around.

Both Li Youran and Chu Meng Yi started to get a little too excited as they continue to kiss each other.

Before long, their clothes had already left their bodies and their skins were touching each other directly. The touching of their skins only makes both men even more excited.

Li Youran’s eyes were in deep purple, filled with desires for Chu Meng Yi. His hands automatically went to play with Chu Meng Yi’s nipple as he licks, nips, and bites the other one.

Even though Li Youran was biting Chu Meng Yi’s nipple, he didn’t feel any pain or discomfort. Only strong sensory stimulation that have caused his toes to curl up and his breathing to deepen.

With a twist of his hand, a bottle of oil appeared on his hand. Not caring about the amount of oil that was used, Li Youran pour all of the content onto his hands as he continue to play with his nipples and tongue, alternatively. His hand went down as he left a trail of oil behind on Chu Meng Yi’s body.

“Ah!” Chu Meng Yi moans softly as Li Youran’s hand touches his manhood with a soft touch that sends electric shocks through his body. Pleasure and sensory sensation caused Chu Meng Yi to gasp for breaths.

Every time that they had sex, the only thing that Chu Meng Yi could feel was pleasurable sensual sensories, never any pain. Li Youran’s size wasn’t normal so every time that they had sex, Li Youran always prepared Chu Meng Yi so very well that he cummed a couple of times before Li Youran was even in him.

Chu Meng Yi gasped as he came onto Li Youran’s hand, causing his expressionless face to redden and sweats to glide down his forehead and neck. He was feeling so hot and near suffocated from the pleasure that his manhood stood up again, just after cumming.

Li Youran kissed Chu Meng Yi’s red cheeks before trailing up to his forehead and kissing the sweats there off too.

“Yi’er, can I?” Li Youran asked with his voice hoarse and deep, causing Chu Meng Yi to recall the first time that Li Youran made love to him.

“Prepare me first,” Chu Meng Yi didn’t bother feeling shy or embarrassed as he moved his hand toward Li Youran’s manhood and gave it a jerk. Li Youran groaned out loud as he moved his hand toward Chu Meng Yi’s chrysanthemum. He smeared the oil on his hand onto the opening and give it a steady poke.

“Haah!” Chu Meng Yi gasped as he feel the wall of his private area stretches. “Hmmm,” He moaned as Li Youran put in another finger.

Li Youran’s eyes flashed. This man is his. Forever his. And only his.

Minutes passed by and Li Youran made Chu Meng Yi cummed another two times before he went inside Chu Meng Yi.

With Li Youran’s size, even when Li Youran had already prepared him very well, Chu Meng Yi still feels like he was being torn in half. For a split second, his vision white out as he cummed again.

“Yi’er, my Yi’er.” With Li Youran inside Chu Meng Yi, he groaned out the younger male’s name like a prayer.

It takes a lot of willpower from Li Youran’s side to not just thrust deeply inside Chu Meng Yi and get his pleasure from it. Li Youran waited a bit for Chu Meng Yi to get used to his size first before he start to move.

Once he start moving, both Chu Meng Yi and Li Youran were lost to each other, in each other’s arms. Kisses, nipping, and sucking from each other were normal in their lovemaking.

With Li Youran’s level and Chu Meng Yi’s cultivation right now, their sucking on his other’s skin was something that they both did it constantly.

A large purple hickey was on Li Youran’s neck but it soon vanished. The same could be said to Chu Meng Yi’s neck, chest, arms, and anywhere else that Li Youran’s lips can touch.

This just makes both Chu Meng Yi and Li Youran mark each other even more frequently.

Li Youran continues to go deeper and deeper into Chu Meng Yi’s inner palace. Moans and groans from both Chu Meng Yi and Li Youran caused the air within a circumference of 30 miles to dense with mana and spiritual qi.

The trees, plants, animals, beasts, and all that vibrated as they absorbed the aura from the increasingly dense mana and spiritual qi.

The fruits trees within the formation shine brightly as their level increase higher, causing the fruits on their branches to shine even more vibrant. The stimulation from the aura caused all of the fruits trees to sparkle like there’s no tomorrow.

The flora, plants, flowers, herbs, shrubs, weeds, vegetation, and verdure all shimmered with a radiated glister full of vitality.

For the rest of the day, the aura of mana and spiritual qi would only increasingly increase even more throughout the day. By the time that the atmosphere turned back to normal, night times had already come out and the stars has already shown their faces. The moons shine brightly in the background, causing the atmosphere to be very calm and serene.

Inside Chu Meng Yi and Li Youran’s house, Chu Meng Yi had already collapsed from all the pleasure that they went through. The bed was wet with their aftermath from lovemaking. The room smelled like sex. And on Chu Meng Yi’s body, there was countless marking from Li Youran. Some had already vanished, some were in the process of vanishing. Some look like it was going to stay there forever but soon enough, it turned dark purple and then light gray, and soon after, it vanished too.

Li Youran’s eyes were filled with satisfaction as he held onto Chu Meng Yi closely in his chest. He took out wet, and soft, fabrics and slowly and tenderly clean up Chu Meng Yi. After he’s done with that, he picked up Chu Meng Yi and left the room. Behind, the room automatically cleaned itself up.

The smell from their sex vanished and only a clean flowery scent was left behind. The wetted bed sheets vanished into thin air and in their place was other sheets, in different colors and design.

Li Youran placed Chu Meng Yi into a large bathtub made out of Heavenly Dark Jade, filled with milky green water.

Had anyone from this world noticed the water in the bathtub, they would be so jealous that they would want to kill themselves. After all, those milky green water wasn’t normal. At all.

Li Youran washed Chu Meng Yi slowly as he savors how Chu Meng Yi’s skins feel like. Each of his touches caused the poles on Chu Meng Yi’s skin to open up and the impurity inside it sipped out. Soon enough, Chu Meng Yi’s skin was nearly pure white.

Afterward, Li Youran took Chu Meng Yi back to their bedroom. While Chu Meng Yi was asleep, Li Youran watches him all night long. His eyes were soft and a small graceful smile was on his lips.

‘I love you, Yi’er. Please, hurry and get back your memories. I want to make love to the You who has his whole memories back,’ Li Youran thought to himself. Not that he minds the current Chu Meng Yi. In fact, he found it very amusing and interesting how he could still court the Chu Meng Yi like how he had courted the Original Chu Meng Yi. He loves both versions of Yi'er.

It’s just that this version doesn’t have all the bad-point and good-point that his Yi’er from before has. In another word, he's too innocent.

    Li Youran didn’t mind it.

    Not at all. In fact.

    Thanks for reading.

Nah. No schedule. I work two jobs and am a married woman so my writing schedule is pretty much nonexistent. And because I had a couple of novels and FanFiction that I am focusing on at the same time, my updating schedule was even more random.

    - Ah? I have Royalroad- it’s under Lunnear too. In fact, I started out with Royalroad before I even know of this site. Not only that- I also have FanFiction.Net and Wattpad too... Although I rarely use my Wattpad much.
    - Ohhhh I see. Well, I do have Royalroad, FanFiction.Net, Wattpad and Ao3... For Royalroad and here, the username is Lunnear. For FanFiction.Net, Wattpad, and Ao3, the username is Windying.
