If you don't mind reading raw, palace drama novels, 暴君的炮灰男后 （http://www.jjwxc.net/onebook.php?novelid=3591332）is pretty good. MC transmigrates into a novel where the body he enters is 8 and ML is 3. In the novel, the original host is a cannon fodder that bullied ML who's the male lead of the novel and is also a prince. It's pretty much MC mothering over ML when they were kids and ML showing MC love in his own way. They're really cute. And even though it's slow burn (obviously since they're kids most of the story), they're very sweet and cute. There's the usual palace drama stuff but there's also like the daily life (?) stuff. Cause MC becomes ML study partner or whatever it's called. So its mostly about their growth.
You might like: I have medicine 我有药啊[系统] - it's xianxia slice of life. Spans about 30 years of their life, mc & ml grow up together, become op together, goes from partnership to friends to lovers. Also MC is 15 when the story starts, his growth is really satisfying to read. Return to the peak 重臨巔峰（未來）- Starts from MC & ML school life. It's set in future with people having abilities due to radiation & focuses on how MC & ML grow up and get strong.
