In the novel, MC was convinced by others (aunt and psychiatrist) that his lover, a CEO, was just his figment of his imagination. MC is a mangaka of sort and probably has social anxiety disorder. What I remember, whenever he goes out, he alwaya puts on a hat, mask and everything, never shows his face. He rarely goes out, hates going to the psych. He was told he has... schizophrenia? I think. ML is real, an actual CEO of some company, cohabitation with MC in MC's apartment. Never there whenever MC's family visits by some coincidence. A popular and handsome figure. Ahhh.... the whole concept of the novel was him trying to convince himself and others that hisnlover is real. Thank you, im advance!
