The book is really good on it's own, but even better if you've read the previous two. The two main characters are the 'disciples' of the two main characters from God Level Summoner, and because it's a new game, there's a lot of young competitors coming in from various games that have links to popular characters from both book 1 & book 2. I’m not sure if you’ve continued MTLing to find out for yourself... but I finally have the answer! Spoiler: Qin Mo & Qin Ye They are indeed related. Qin Ye is Qin Mo’s little uncle. Qin Mo both respects and fears this little uncle of his because Qin Ye had bullied him when young. And he can’t talk back to Qin Ye’s poisonous mouth. Spoiler: Ling Xuefeng & Qin Mo I really loved their relationship in the novel! Ling Xuefeng was rather hurt that Qin Mo never told him the reason why he suddenly left the professional league, hurt that Qin Mo so easily cut him, his master, out of his life. Qin Mo on the other hand greatly respects (and fears) Ling Xuefeng. He didn’t want to disappoint Ling Xuefeng, he didn’t want his master to pity him. He also believed that his master was angry at him for leaving and failing to meet his expectations when Ling Xuefeng was more hurt and angered about Qin Mo cutting him out of his life. Luckily, Qin Mo finally learned that his master was never angry at him for that. He still fears him, but he’s now aware that he has a really good master who is constantly watching over him and trying to protect him as much as possible. Spoiler: Ling Xuefeng & Xiao Han Ling Xuefeng is the protective papa that keeps on assessing Xiao Han the moment he realizes their relationship. And just like Qin Mo, Xiao Han respects and fears this man. Like he would try to drag Li Cangyu out to pacify Ling Xuefeng first before doing or saying anything. But seriously, Ling Xuefeng makes sure that Xiao Han will treat Qin Mo like royalty. He makes sure that Xiao Han can cook, clean, etc to serve, dote, and spoil Qin Mo as much as possible. He even makes Xiao Han promise him that he will treat Qin Mo like the world. But even then, Ling Xuefeng barely gives him a passing grade. Spoiler: Shy Qin Mo surrounded by shameless seniors So.... Qin Mo and Xiao Han get together. A question that is often asked is “how far have you guys gone?” Obviously, only kissing. So, they’re still pure. Thus.... Our beloved Cat God took the opportunity to pull out a hard drive full of information to teach Qin Mo (Ling Xuefeng disapproves but Cat God already gave it to Qin Mo).
