I did forgot the bottom row, but a checkers board is 8x8. And I had indeed a slip of the finger and put a blank space too many in that bottom piece's row, easy mistake to make since the font I'm seeing is not monospace, but as only half of the cells in a checker's board can be used, it was also easy to identify. Corrected the mistakes, what's the answer?
Let me put it this way...if you have a piece that can single jump and one that can double jump, it's fine to do the single jump. However, unless the piece with the double jump has a different jump that is not double, then if you move it it must do the double jump. If it has a different jump that is only a single, then you can do the single jump instead of the double jump.
