I tried it. Got 4 episodes in and dropped it. It’s up to you OP - if nothing else give it a shot and if it doesn’t hook you, drop it.

Not exactly. On something like the umpteenth final chapter the mangaka says screw it and gives him a wife and kid

I like Boruto. Not as much as Naruto, but they both mature over time. Boruto starts at a lower maturity so he matures faster. I'm not sure how they'll give him the cool action Naruto got from the Kyuubi, but just like Naruto he's using tactics over brute force while young. Seeing NarutoxHinata play out is nice, and seeing all the other characters paired off with their own children makes it even nicer. Poor Shino though.

 

My biggest fear is that Naruto dies by the hand of some stupid character just cuz of Boruto development (Cam'on! As much as i don't like him... Seeing him going out just like that would make me rage like Kurama).
And i would realy like that his sister, Himawari, would be the protagonist...

 

I don't like super, I wanted the continues series after GT. But meh super came out of nowhere.

 

GT is a filler... Still, i liked it :/

 

I didn't even bother watching it after reading the manga a bit + the movie. It's like Naruto but worse (which is saying a lot).

That said, I never liked most of Naruto side characters. The enemies of Naruto are not bad though.

Borato has even worse side characters.

They are just trying to milk money here, it isn't worth watching.

But I prefer a Reincarnation of Renji in another world anime... He's the best guy in the whole series.
If he only lived, Naruto will never get lil sis without passing onii-chan's exam 1st :v

 

imo, compared to naruto, boruto more like doujinshi / fan made. And yes as manga, naruto isn't great (but the chunin exam arc was awesome though) (don't bash me)

 

I would realy prefer that Himawari was the protagonist... Cuz this whole thing "my das don't have time for me so i'll just say "fuck him" is stupid as fuck.
Plus we already had a Namikaze protagonist (no even of naruto's name is Uzumaki... His Namikaze bloodline is stronger)

 

Watch the first episodes and the first five minutes will change your mind.

I watched Naruto when I was younger. It was a great show. Boruto well... surprisingly I like it.

Boruto is more of a slice of life, happy kids show (they say it will go darker later on) but right now it’s slow paced in a way to fit the slice of life feel and show you how Boruto influences the people around him.
Obviously he’s the most annoying character to most people, I find him okayish myself, but my favourite has to be Mitsuki. He is way more interesting than Boruto and in fact, the most interesting one in the show. The other side characters are fine.

Right now at 35 episodes in they’re still in happy life mode, I don’t think serious stuff will happen anytime soon...

It’s definitely not the Naruto show itself so I watched it as a Boruto show.

Lol all these people in the thread who never watched the show but say its bad.

 

i like naruto and boruto 2 part are great
