Why It Should Get Picked Up: If you loved Silent Reading by Priest you're going to love this novel. It's a police investigation danmei that would keep you at the edge of your seat, and for more reasons that one.

The cases: exciting, well thought-out and sometimes dark, the twists (KNIVES HAHA) will come when you expect them the least. You may think you know what's going on but believe me, you don't.

And of course the main couple: Yan Xie (ML) x Jiang Ting (MC). The gong Yan Xie is younger.
Just let me say that they have a lot of surprises, heartbreak and comedy stored for you. The novel has a happy ending that includes a canon wedding. There are R18 chapters which you can find on AO3.

It has been almost a year since the group who finished the first arc posted an update - chapter 43. The group that was supposed to take over them went inactive. It's one of the best investigation novels on NU. There's a sequel dedicated to Yan Xie's cousin, which is getting translated, but it includes MAJOR spoilers that spoil this novel so be careful~
