Bump rule?

    Just like the thread title, I just want to ask, are there any rule for bumping thread? Like maybe whats the minimum and/or the maximum time difference.

    There isn't an official rule, yet.

    It really depends on what thread and what's the content of your post.

    In general, avoid necro'ing old threads, but also avoid making repeat threads. If you're the last person to post in the thread, 1 week is a good rule of thumb for a bump post. You'll get more leeway if your bump isn't spammy.

    Okay. Thanks for the explanation. I just want to kinda "bump" a thread I started before, in the novel pickup request section. But since I'm the last one who has just posted there, I don't really know what to say. :D
    But since its already older than 1 week ago, I guess its okay then?

    Yeah, it's fine.

    The novel pick up section is one of those sections where you shouldn't bump too often since it's slow. When in doubt, use whatever rule MangaUpdates would have in that situation just ask here. :whistle:
