    Do people eat sweets because they actually love to eat sweet stuff?
    Or do they just get used to eat sweet stuff because sugar creates an illusion of pleasure?

    They love to eat sweet stuff because of the illusion of pleasure

    That doesn't mean that it is a lie, just that most people don't know why they like it.

    well would people not exactly like sweets because they give pleasure? so it's the same thing, really. and as far as i remember theres some addictive stuff in sugar, not sure tho

    You think that you like sweets, but in reality it's only your tongue that says that it is pleasurable. You don't even think if you actually like it. It is your tongue who says that you should.
