Discussion can i ask why is there no one translating rain ?

Rain is awesome both novel/manga and the MC rain... I want more...

 

Yeah I also wondered that. The manga version is very good if the manga is good then the light novel would be even better. Hopefully someone will pick it up someday I bet it will instantly take over the best spot against xinia novels.

 

I love the comedy in it. It's one of my favorites. And unfortunately the manga has mostly stopped updating now too.

 

Is this the one whose MC has a vampire master? and a loli princess?

 

rain is a very good manga, one of the best mc around.

 

So apparently rain has no translator for 3 years... So its safe to say anyone can go ahead and pick up this project. Bakatsuki translated it up to ch4 but stopped. Let us all pray for the savior righteousness enough to translate rain. #prayforrain

 

yep he also has 2 more harem members a hot demon chick he defeated then seduced, and another demon he seduced when he was only 14 I think maybe younger

 

I remember that Rain actually does have a translator, but I forgot the website.

Correct me if I'm wrong but this is a Japanese novel not a Chinese right so how can it be xianxia?

 

I'm stating that Japanese novels are losing to xinia novels lately for quite some time now, not Chinese novels in general but xinia novels. It saddens me but Japanese novels being translated now can't really keep up with the fast paced action pack xinia novels. With Rain it might be possible with well written comedy, plot and well paced action its possible to take the top spot once again and maybe awaken those hidden novels like rain.

 

I was just going to start a similar threat haha, I really hope someone would pick it up. Is there any way to make it public that we want it to picked up?

1.Japanese LN are 99% same plot so what translated in 2007 has same plot as the ones translated right now.
2.Repeat after me X-I-A-N-X-I-A. XIANXIA..
3.People got bored of the same Wannabe Hero Gotta Save Everybody Garbage MC and his cliche harem(Loli Twin-Tails Tsundere being present all the time) fighting against 1D Antagonist.Let's not forget he often gets beaten up by his harem.

 

actually, sense scans decided to only release volume chapter instead of the magazine ones back then. and being a monthly, rain's volume were only release twice a year, which just yesterday sense scans has started releasing the translated chapters again. unfortunately though, voulme 11 only has chapter 54-59 iinm, whereas latest magazine was 63 (or was it 64?)

btw, rain LN/manga has the best twin tailed-vampire ever, imho.

Ok so you mentioned like one.Overlord.Which fits in the 1% good japanese novel.
Fate Zero original work is an anime(Quite a good read).TWGOK original work is a manga.

The main language on this forum is english.
Secondly, i'm not into japanese novels for the same reasons that you've mentioned. Thirdly, for a better understanding of what light novel means search and read the wikipedia article. There are other similar discussion on this topic/comparation (japanese-chinese novels).

I'll give it a try, maybe i'll like it. But, i'm, somehow, annoyed by 'harem' tags, that's why i tend to skip japanese light novels with this tag. Usually, i dislike the japanese notion of harem.
