Question Can I Not watch Ads for Qidian's latest chapters anymore?

So I stopped reading Release that Witch Chapters at the end of my fall simester and now I just blew through the stockpiled chapters and at the ones you need to unlock. Can I not watch ads to unlock those chapters now and have to use their currency to read and are they locked forever or just the latest 22 or so since the latest is 728 and I'm on 706?

It seems like only certain stories are doing that while others are not. Probably something the translators can set.

Answer: nope, impossible. Either you watch the ads, use SS or go premium. Another option would be to wait.

 

you can always try to make a script to bypass that shit but then again i have no idea how to code so i dunno how feasible it would be to be able to bypass it with scripts

 

You can buy their currency which is pretty cheap or wait a bit for the chapters to free up.

 

They are unable to be read if you don't pay spirt stones until the next chapter is release then one is no longer blocked.

 

those are premium chapters, as far as i know they will become normal/ad chapters on a schedule, so you just gotta wait for em to become avaible. Pretty much just wait for them to show up on Nu, then they'll only have ads

 

Although I'm not quite happy with the new model, it is possible to remain up to date with a single novel, as the website gives you enough "reading stones" to unlock for 2 "paid" chapters a day and stockpile a little.

 

Not sure 'bout others Qi's release, but for CCG it's usually the latest 2 chapters that got ads.
Personally I don't mind watching them, but I do wish they got mute button...coz it's so damn loud & silencing my phone doesn't work

 

videos and stuff don't get silenced by just switching it to silent mode, you have to turn down the volume manually (as far as i know)

Isn't obvious that you can't read any novels on qidian for free without paying real money, use free SS, or watch the ads (except for waiting for seven days for it to be free)?

 

he said he stopped reading since fall, so he probaly don't know about premium chapters yet since they got introduced not long ago, and he isnt asking if he can avoid watching ads, pretty sure he meant to say ''i can't watch ads'' insteand of ''can i not watch ads'' but ofc i wouldnt know

 

You should have made an account and kept up with the daily check in's and you would have 1500+ free spirit stones to use on chapters like me.

The premium novels currently don't allow watching ads to unlock. However, on their announcement they said they were thinking of a feasible way to implement watching ads to the premium system -which will be realized sometime in the future

Edit: The latest ones would be locked -the locked ones will be unlocked in a slower rate (I guess)

 

This only works for the ad-locked chapters not the premium chapters that are 10+ spirit stones per chapter to unlock. There's no ad and that script only works on the chapters locked behind the adwall not the premium wall.

There are premium chapters now? How is it different than the regular novels where the last 2 chapters usually need 4 stones or to watch the ads to unlock? Wait it is 10 stones? Are they crazy? Is that just for the latest chapter?

 

Just invite some "friends", gives you enough stones to unlock the chapters quite easily.
