A Mistaken Marriage Match: A Generation of Military Counselor

Really anything from that family of novels but that one is particularly good. Note that they're sort of intended to be read in order so some scenes from the first trilogy where the characters interact only appear in the first novel with that scene. Doesn't ruin anything IMO (I read them out of order) but knowing ahead of time cuts down on the confusion....

Yeah, it's the male lead that falls in love first for her. The ones that find out first help her cover it as well.

Phoenix Destiny. The storyline isn't the same as the ones you listed, but so far, there's been no romance at all, and she doesn't seem like the sort to let the ML make all her decisions for her.

I don’t think reading out of order affects the reading experience cuz I actually have no idea what’s the order lol

But yeah if you’re confused I guess I just kept on reading and in the end I got it

I started with that book btw and it was GOOD

Oh yes Bewitching Prince Spoils His Wife doesn’t have a the ml make decisions for her either.

It’s pretty close and actually really good. Like a cliche with a sliight twist lol

The intended order is "Record of Washed Grievances", "A Generation of Military Counselor", and then "Mysteries in the Imperial Harem".

I also agree that reading out of order doesn't hurt much, but I don't care too much about spoilers for these types of novels either. If you do then the first novel ends part way through the second so you end up learning the final twist of that novel early. It's not so much the case for the third novel since that one is a little more removed from the other two for a couple of reasons, but there's still spoilers there. Overall super heartwarming though. I'm waiting for the sequel trilogy to have at least one completely translated novel before I start in on that.
