What can I say? Dysfunctional home is dysfunctional. Are you sure it's not adolescent angst? Most adolescents have this delusion that their parents don't love them and can't understand them. It comes with the age.

Then is it not a problem? As long as you tell them things that no one else should know, they will at least listen to you. Then you can do a DNA test too. So while they might find the situation crazy, they probably wouldn't abandon you.

Right, but you will definitely take a lot of effort to convince them, I mean why not, let's do a dna test with a stranger who somehow lived in our house, claimed to be our child, and knew something about us...

Or, you steal part of them and did the dna test by yourself...

I interpreted this as my entire existence has been completely erased with my family and friends. It's not just that they can't remember me. For them, I never was. I won't have any mementos (photos, etc) because they never happened. Ditto for their memories. I know some of my friends and family members would believe me if I was able to spit out facts about them that only I know, but they might not be facts anymore in this reality. If I never existed it would change certain experiences they've had and they won't be the person I used to know. In fact, they might be very different from the person I knew them as. They might even be dead.

I wouldn't be able to force anyone to do a DNA test and I'd have to cross my fingers and hope that the family members who are open-minded enough to allow one are alive and haven't changed significantly in personality. I know some friends and family that would believe in a DNA test and believe me if I was able to give them enough information about themselves and each other that wasn't knowable by the general public, but that wouldn't make them any closer to me. At best most of them would be curious and agree that I was telling that truth. That wouldn't help them remember me though. I don't live at home and I have my own place and money. In my country it wouldn't be hard to prove I wasn't an overstayer, so I'm not worried about being kicked out even if I can't prove my identity. I have enough money in ready cash to continue living wherever I want to live while building my money back up. It'd suck to lose what I've already built up in my bank accounts and investments, but it's not hard to do it again anyway.

The only real pain the ass would be having to go to through the government rigmarole of acquiring a new identity so I could get a new passport, driver's license, bank account, etc. It would probably take me about a year to get all that done. My clients would be miffed at first to have to deal with my 'replacement' and I'd certainly lose a few, but as long as I can convince them through results it'll work out. My other projects don't require me to be the 'face', so I wouldn't have to worry about smoothing over other people's concerns.

I'd miss being a part of my family. My parents have consistently vocalized and shown through their actions that they genuinely love and cherish me and my siblings. I'm in daily contact with my siblings, even if it's only a text to catch up and see how they're doing. We spend free time together whenever we can and we don't even dare to think about how life will be when one of us (probably me, I'm the eldest) dies. My friends are the family I chose. We've known each other for decades. I've been there for birthdays, engagements, weddings, christenings, funerals. They are only a fraction of a step beneath my siblings in emotional importance. The grief I experience being erased from their lives would be agonizing.

    I won't go crazy and I won't die.

This is the only life I have and I'll never throw it away. I've lived enough and learned enough to know that being forgotten by your family and friends isn't the worst thing that can happen to you. I also value and respect myself too much to waste my life by doing things that will harm me. My family and friends loved me and cherished me. They won't have the memories, but I will. I'll remember every time I was encouraged. Every time they helped me. Every time they were there to pat me on the shoulder when the world felt like shit and I just wanted to start a fight with everybody. I wouldn't disrespect any of that by going crazy or killing myself. That's stupid and a waste. So I'll live, I'll build my life up slowly and I'll try to convince them. If I can't, I'll just respect it. That doesn't mean I can't watch them from the sidelines and help them covertly now and then. I don't need them to remember me because I remember them. It wouldn't be my ideal life, but it's better than no life.

That is why you tell them things only family would know. If you do that, they will at least be tolerant. Because as crazy as what you claim is, you knowing something no one else should know is also quite crazy. And you seal the deal with the DNA test.

As for doing the DNA test yourself, that is a big no. They have to be the ones to do the DNA test. Because if you do the test, they can't trust it. If they do the test, then they can't claim anything.

That is why safest is to give information that is before you were born. Thus the likelihood of things being different doesn't change.

The DNA test is simply to seal the deal. Nothing more, nothing less. They aren't gonna magically remember you from it. But they will at least be hospitable.

As for having enough money in ready cash, how does that work? You don't exist, so is anything even yours to begin with? Your property might belong to your family or a stranger. So if you take the cash, that is effectively stealing.

You also having no identity means building your money back up would be a lot harder.

If anything, your family can get you an identity at the very least. For example, say that you were born while they were in another country and they were told you died but in reality the hospital made a mistake by mislabeling the babies. Then use the DNA test as proof.

Getting shelter for a few months and an identity would go a long way.

    1. Already said they wouldn't remember me. Also already outlined my answer.
    2. My existence as part of their world didn't happen. It doesn't mean I didn't happen. I'd only lose what was attached to the names, not the money in my safe, lol. If you want to be really pedantic about it then yes I'll have to leave house attached to that safe, but I wouldn't feel bad about taking money I earned on the way out. Hope that clears it up for you.
    3. No, it really doesn't. In fact in my line of work they don't need to know your name. Some of my clients have never known my name/don't know my name. They only care about results.
    4. My family may or may not accept a DNA test but only a fool would rely on them allowing one. Better have a backup plan just in case.

Your judgement, good Sir or madam is based on a fallacy. You see, at the age of 42, I have sired offspring that might rival or even surpass you in age. So while some of your assumptions might contain a very small grain of truth, they completley lack any validity or pertinence to my experiences with my family. So I would turely appreciate it if you would kindly take a flying fuck off a tall pier in the the middle of a snow storm. Goodday to you.

Ai-chan has had a dream like this before. It was a terrible life.

Ai-chan fell asleep at a theme park and when Ai-chan woke up, the theme park was a rusted ruin. A policeman woke Ai-chan up telling Ai-chan that Ai-chan shouldn't sleep there. Ai-chan asked him what happened to Ai-chan's niece (this particular niece was 12 back when this dream happened). The policeman said there was no one there other than Ai-chan. So Ai-chan thought maybe Ai-chan's sister brought Ai-chan's niece home but it felt weird that she didn't tell Ai-chan.

So Ai-chan walked home. When Ai-chan went home, the whole neighbourhood was different. None of the neighbours were people Ai-chan knew. Even the place where Ai-chan's home was had a different house with other people living there. Ai-chan asked them where Ai-chan's family was, but they said they didn't know what Ai-chan was talking about and told Ai-chan that they've been living there for years.

Ai-chan went to the police station to ask them to look for Ai-chan's family, but not even they knew anything. In fact, Ai-chan and Ai-chan's entire family didn't exist. Ai-chan didn't believe them, and spent years trying to find Ai-chan's family. But they weren't there. Everyone Ai-chan knew didn't exist. All the addresses Ai-chan knew had different buildings and different people living there.

For years Ai-chan look for them. Living like a hobo, begging for food, being treated like a crazy person. In the end, Ai-chan drowns Ai-chan's self in a lake. Ai-chan felt the breath run out of Ai-chan's lungs before Ai-chan woke up. Unlike normal, it was a comforting death. There was no pain, there was anxiety, but it was in the end, a liberating death to end a suffering.

You knock on doors and explain that you are in a tough spot can they spot some money or a meal and then work from there.

Either you have gone crazy, missed your meds, been in an accident or other "normal" things
Or you are currently experiencing or have just experienced a supernatural event. Perhaps you are dead and currently in hell.

There was a poorly documented case I remember when I read your post. There was a farmer in early America that got sucked up in a tornado. Many years later the same man approached a small village that had popped up on his farm and was bewildered over the passage of time that had passed. Eventually, the story ends with the man killing himself. The story is true but if the "timetravel" happened is unknown.

Not sure if this is in reference to anything, but there is an actual scene like this in Chinese porn. It was a Cantonese porn where the dude flying fucks a woman in kung fu scene in a forest in the middle of a storm. Not sure what its name was. It was certainly Cantonese (Hong Kong production) made in either the 90s or early 2000s.

Lmao! Nah, though I think I've seen something similar once... only makes it more humorous looking at the dude's avatar. Like it's from D rated kungfu spoof like "kungpow, enter the fist"
