Mini RPG Carcossa Blood Moon

OOC: @Haitaka you do realise that all the events take place over a single night in this rp as well as the fact that there were literally creatures made from pure blood and ethereal beings appearing last night in the administrative zone let alone the now appearing houses with eyes all over and windows made from blood?

 

Location: Administration

A crime report reached the administration in the following hours.

"Two were found dancing as if possessed until the guards stopped them, bringing them in for questioning" one of the guards reported, "It seems the two were muttering something about pumpkins after they stopped dancing"

"This is the second case of this happening tonight, we need to figure out why that is" a local administrator stated.

"Yes sir" the guard said as he left the room.

The administrator being left in the room all alone muttered, "Why pumpkins?"

 

Location: North-West Gate(First Gate)
After bringing Hyacinth to the North-West Gate, Ferya noticed her turning about, indicating that she is close to waking up.

As Ferya carefully watched over her, Hyacinth soon woke up with eyes glazed and dim, a remnant effect from the lost of her original self.

Knowing it would take a while, Ferya hesitated for a moment before pointing towards Hyacinth's forehead.

"By my authority, you are now Hyacinth, the sister of Ferya, all that you are before... is for you to decide what to do with." As those words were recited, a suggestion entered Hyacinth's mind, replacing her blank state with a purpose.

As her gaze gained a faint glimmer, Hyacinth glanced around and met eyes with Ferya.

"Sister...?"

Not know what to say, Ferya cradled Hyacinth onto her arms. Then, with light steps, she carried her through the city, ignoring the stalking eyes of ghosts and humans around as they soon faded from view.

 

Location: Administration
"Ehh why did that fail? Isn't the liver supposed to allow you to pass back to places that you had already been?" Crash pulls out a book from their back pocket. "Wait that was to stop people from getting drunk quite a useless spell I must say but useful at the oddest of times."
Due to the leaving of Ferya the entire administration block was soon swamped by blood turning into a similar state to that of the northern most gate.
Having flipped through the bloody book for awhile and not noticing the changes Crash finally finds the correct spell. "Ohh it was silver that was needed to teleport not liver. Actually isn't that weirder for a blood mage to be using silver rather than the use of the liver? Anyway to the bank? Good thing everyone in this place is rich they must have a lot of silver!" Crash immediately heads to the nearby houses to begin the plundering of the silver!

Meanwhile the 3 ghostbusters stalk Ferya into the North-western gate whilst the others disband and spread throughout the city returning to the trapping of ghosts, ghasts and ghouls.

 

Marketplace

Ritsu remained in her little room, out of detection range while also keeping an eye out for everything that was happening within the maze, and a little bit just outside the outermost walls. She detected the waking of a brave, but did not deem her a threat, for she had no intentions of getting too involved with the little...boy? Girl? Anyway, according to what she had seen so far...

The prey were doing a horrible job at surviving. For a group that comprised of fighters, she expected them to have some measure of survival ability. And so far, all she saw were people running around, screaming like headless chickens --- and headless they would be, for those screams attracted the hunters to them.

No one had found any of the silver ingots that she had left, even though she had taken the initiative to leave them stacked neatly on a stall front, too. It was left idle in plain sight, and she had witnessed entire groups of survivors run past without noticing them. For goodness' sake.

"...What to do? They are less intelligent than I expected them to be..."

Thinking deeply, a small smile soon appeared on Ritsu's face. Amassing a clump of what appeared to be shadowy growth in her hands, she tossed it onto the floor...And within seconds, another Ritsu formed out of the shadow. This one, however, was transparent and could be seen-through.

"I believe they need a guide."

 

Location: North-West Gate
After bringing Hyacinth away, Ferya finally let her down near a residence located in the North-West Gate, where her authority is the strongest.

At the same time, she could feel something attempting to corrupt her domain right at the place which she had just left, which she assumed to be the headless spirit from before.

But not viewing the place as anything important, she ignored it, as it would take some time for the area to be taken over.

Instead, she put her attention on Hyacinth.

"How do you feel?" She asked her carefully.

After a while, Hyacinth said faintly, "I... do not... know..."

Though she expected such an answer, Ferya could not help but to sigh.

In the end, Ferya brought out numerous books from out of nowhere and said to Hyacinth.

"Unless something which endangers your life comes or occurs, you are not to walk out of here without my permission or accompaniment. But I will leave you with these to pass your time here."

Reacting to those words, Hyacinth nodded lightly and reached for a nearby book, proceeding to silently read.

Seeing this, Ferya silently walked away, intent on keeping the western area safe until the construction of the forest ends.

Somewhere beyond the horizon a weary sun began its course toward the zenith, unaware of the ghostly light it almost failed to provide to the devastated Rye Town. Beyond the few that evacuated, the morning saw the streets filled with blood, corpses, and the shuffling feet of the enthralled inhabitants, who now served the whims of spirits. The town was now an undead domain; within it, twisted energies fueled the return of the long gone to roam the streets forever more.

A small mercy to humankind was that power waned beyond the town's outskirts, where the sunlight would chase away the lost souls. For those who wished for freedom, a vessel was required. They reached out to their former lives, searching for a way to manifest beyond the walls and surrounding forests, further draining the area of life.
