Request Chaotic Sword God

I read up to chpt 130~ ish, but stopped following all the updates because the story felt too jumbled and things were just spliced into the plot unnaturally. Is this novel worth continuing? is there something down the line that fixes everything, or should I just drop it.

 

To be honest the plot seemed interesting for moment after 130 but has not reverted into repeated killing of random people. So meh

 

Honestly when I get to a part of the story I don't like I take a break and read it again later, especially if its not far enough ahead of the part for me to skip. I myself am taking a break from chaotic sword god and will probably continue later.

 

I still follow it but lately he hasn't left the forest and it's getting kinda repetitive and boring right now to me. I can only hope it picks up again soon.

 

i just started reading it late last night only at ch 88 atm

 

I read, but at a slow pace... Somehow a kind of bing reading and skipping chapters.. Maybe the best is to wait till he is out of the forest. Now i am concentrating on others like War of Supreme Mysteries, ISSTH, CD, PMG, Perfect World, ToG&D, MER & Shadow Rouge

 

I got to around 130 also and lost interest as the main character was just getting... nonprogressive. Not sure where the story is going either.

 

Hmm Its kinda getting a little bit slow 4 me that's why I stopped 4 now and read CSG in a later date

 

Currently caught up on it and I'm staying patient with it for when he gets out of the forest. Hoping it picks up again; because I think in every 5 chapters there is a tid bit of new stuff that links it to overall story. I do agree the repetition is getting annoying. Seems like the author is/was buying time while trying to think of how to progress the story. I would reccomend reading the chapters 153 to 156 i think. Has a part that links to the general story. Even coiling dragon had parts similar to this that dragged slowly, but not to the same degree.

I'm also around chapter 130 and I think the latest is 157 and he's still in the forest?

The repetition, find mercenary group, fight, collect monster cores and the go again is indeed kinda annoying. But I'm hoping the end is near and probably a small time skip where he actually absorbs all the monster cores he plunderer (cough ... collected) and increases in power and then the story resumes.

 

Honestly, I stopped reading Chaos sword god when the plot only revolved around him killing mercenaries instead of trying to focus on his training. It declined for me when he started to group up with the Flame Mercenaries though. The author explained that he needed to group up with them at later chapters and not initially. Although that's not the main reason I'm annoyed. What I'm annoyed at was that the thousand poison or whatever is still 'active' yet he still wants to fight mercenaries all over.

I'll go back to it when this arc is over.

 

Finally, he's gonna get out for that damn forest.

But, still waiting for fighting magical beast lvl 5 lol

EDIT: I just finished reading more than 10 chapters and he's still on the forest though! I'll probably go back when he returns to his mother lol.

 

Iirc correctly I got around to chapter 60? for this one, then decided to put it on hold until further notice, due to the fact that the plot wasn't keeping my attention. I'll go back to it around 200 chapters or so I guess. People keep telling me its good, but I just don't see it so far.

 

It's due to the killing and OPness of the MC I guess. The killing plot got repetitive though so I'm going to postpone until there's actually a development

I just think it got rushed at a certain point and just ruined its own flow.

 

Back to original hometown and meet with mother, i think is really loooooong story lol
