    Hi

I'm looking for good Chinese martial arts movies focused on wuxia or xianxia theme. Preferably modern setting with good story.

Ancient setting is fine as well if the story is good.

Martial arts movies are fine even if they don't have wuxia theme as long as they are really good.

Most importantly English audio OR subtitles should be available.

    Thanks.

Not sure what you mean by wuxia in a modern setting...? Something like Swallowed Star?

A good wuxia series available in live action is Legend of Condor Heroes (not modern setting)

I don't think a "modern" wuxia exists... In fact, I would have thought anything with a modern-setting would automatically be disqualified as wuxia. That's why I was asking what he meant, and modern-style Xuanhuan was my best guess; and of course, if there was a term misunderstanding, using an example is a more effective way of clearing things up.

    P.S.
    gooling "wuxia" gets me:
a genre of Chinese fiction or cinema featuring itinerant warriors of ancient China, often depicted as capable of superhuman feats of martial arts.
