Sup, so I've been meaning to discuss novels ive read recently which are mostly Chinese Romance novels which can be bl, gl, bg etc and mostly have cultivation, ancient China, transmigration, adventure, fantasy, male yandere as tags I'll list some as a examples: →BL -Husky and his white cat shizun -A smile from the villain -Scum villain's self saving system -The legendary master's wife -Thousand autums (fav) →BxG -The guide to capturing a black lotus -The villainess won't let the main leads break up -After Transmigrating into a Short-lived White Moonlight, had a HE with the Villain -The Correct Strategy to Approach the Yandere Supporting Male Lead And many more but i can't name them all So if any of these seen familiar, hit me up!
whatever is trending is what is written by authors whatever is trending is what's translated by translators there'll probably be other, nicer tropes out there but because the audience is a niche group, no one reads it->no one translates it->no one recommends it->you don't learn about it and read it
Ahhh i see and yeh ik I've seen plenty novels dropped even tho they're basically hidden gems anyways do u read these genres/ tags?
I've read some of them. I like some of them. I know a little about the historical context for the genre showing up at this particular moment. But I can't say I know enough about it to have an informed opinion.

Okay, looking at my "Completed, Would Recommend" list, there's: Devil Venerable Also Wants to Know, which is a great trope parody. Sick Beauty [Rebirth], which has a terrible name but an awesome story. This Damned Thirst for Survival, which is a modern take on the genre. Transmigrating into a Mob Character to Rehabilitate the Villain Plan, which is another favorite.
I don’t read a lot them but I do want to get into it, I have read President’s substitute bride, first marriage and then love and a warm wedding Lu master if they are like those, I will like them, I could read historical and fantasy one but I don’t want any yandere or abusive characters, I hate that
