    Even the Chinese readers have a bad opinion about Qidian. Knowing that they have a bad rep in China their home ground, Qi should just really fuck off.

    Well, I rarely play the thread, I only stalk it and make big replies.

    I was summoned twice or thrice recently though, I feel a bit bad for ignoring those...

    Let's not hijack this too much though, I think people would get angry if we started making random chatter on the hot topic of the moment.

    Yeah.

    Have heard that a lot of Chinese just go to pirate sites instead of Qidian. Never personally looked though however. Probably the hates the reason why.

    Well, AFAIK China is the place with most piracy in the world, so it's to be expected...

    Their prices are pretty affordable though... I don't need to pirate that kind of cheap stuff.

    Well... Didn't someone say reading Coiling Dragon would cost some 20$ or so?

    I paid more than that just on the transport fees for the limited edition of the new Touhou Game, and my countries currency is 1/3 of dollar... And my salary is 2/5 of a minimum wage as well...

    I wouldn't mind paying 20$ on the equivalent of some 20 books or so.
    No no, that is my position, the popcorn team, nobody cares about something due to boredom.

    Well, the comments you translated represents part of what the Chinese feel, but there's also a side that supports Qidian's decision. Also I wouldn't put too much weight on comments from Baidu Tieba since that place is filled with pirate readers who don't want to pay a dime to read anything.
