I think it's be so cute if they became a trio but Wei Luo just dislikes him so much because of the horrible mother *sigh sigh*
I vaguely remember getting over her dislike eventually. Its hard to dislike someone that likes you that much. I don't think we see much of him later on... Once Wei Luo is older, the story focuses more on her and Zhao Jie. (I read it over 3 months ago, so I don't remember well.)
As they grow older, Chang Mi loves Wei Luo more than his own mother and sister and slowly slowly even Wei Luo will like him...

I had mentioned it in my earlier post... In short, she was ordered to marry to some family by the emperor. Her husband and his family members were all involved in 5th prince's rebellion (her biological brother). Following the 5th prince's defeat, her husband and all of his family members, along with 7th princess got exiled. In case you're wondering, her husband never appeared in the story, he was just mentioned in the passing. The 5th prince, I don't quite remember, he was either executed or exiled together with 7th princess and her family.
Somewhat finished the mtl, though I gotta say the emperor completely deserves the cold treatment the empress gave him. I'm glad she left the palace. Well CH is a pretty protective brother when it comes to WL and he doesn't want like SH or ZJ trying to take WL away from him. At first, CH thought WL bought that jade hairpin thing for SH but it was actually for ZJ. He wasn't very happy when he found out especially that's when she bought it along with his birthday present.
How does Ah Lou deal with Li Xiang in the following chapters? And how did Changhong and Li Xiang engagement not become one?

And how Li Xiang and Changhong engagement will break... you will know in the near time...but if you really want to know it was like this Spoiler After Li Xiang know mc tricked her. She will get really angry. And in her anger, she shoot the arrow to Changhong. But, Li Song cover her and said he was the one who shoot Changhong. MC knowing about this then meet Li Song and ask him. He admit as the culprit then MC stab him with hairpin. The family then know about how Li Song shoot Changhong but LS didn't told anyone who is the one that stab him with hairpin. With this incident that make the two families broke the engagement. (And I think the Li family then know that it is actually Li Xiang that shoot the arrow, not Li Song. They then punish her as it is not really good if a girl do that kind of thing.)
They're not engage but iirc she's just his cousin who's aiming for him and with Queen backing her. Name was like Danyang or something. Spoiler: Danyang Duringsome ceremony, she 'bragged' about how ML send her some gold bracelet (rather it was the Queen who sent it using ML's name and she knows it too) in front of Ah Lou. She appears on and off, another instance is when ML return from being away for a month or two, he was injured. Queen brought the cousin with her, Ah Lou was there first then they came. Queen proceeds to have cousin feed ML medicine but before even getting to do that, ML rejected saying he can do it himself. Then later Ah Lou had to leave, cousin used the excuse of sending her off to talk to Ah Lou...well saying things like she shouldn't be around too much, she's engage, bad for reputation since ML is not married. But when she went back, ML told the cousin she shouldn't come to his place anymore, man and woman have their differences, gotta watch for her image/reputation (haha the thing she tries to use against Ah Lou is used against her) That girl really doesn't know what no means...as long as ML is not married, she won't give up she says... As for when the novel ends, sorta forgot what happens to her, someone else probably can spoil this better
