Hello, I am looking for a novel with game elements that has a game-like system with classes and jobs, with a difference between both well defined. I mean, in most novels with systems of game such as Log Horizon, The King of the Battlefield, Re-Monster or Death Mage to put an example, usually appears either just classes or just jobs and in any of the cases their descriptions are usually the same or are very similar (in my point of view), and what I want is a story that describes and differentiates well what are classes and what are jobs. No matter if it is a Japanese, Korean or Chinese novel, as long as the protagonist is not beta, preferably in NU. Edit: Preferably on fantasy worlds and not on video games (I apologize if there are mistakes with my English, I am learning.)
You want something with Classes AND Jobs or Classes OR Jobs. Because sometimes the two can be used interchangeably, sometimes there is a difference. You want a novel that has both? What about ones which have multiple jobs/classes as an option? (but not both)
Thanks I'm going to try this out. I think when I saw the name I thought it was part of that certain author got a lot of novels with similar names and I dropped all of them.
Typically i'd say a class is something permanent as you're being 'classified' as a certain type, while a job is something that you can choose and change to fulfill a role.
Use the game elements tag and you'll get everything with systems like that. I reccomend Tate no Yuusha and Kumo Desu ga, Nani ka?
