    Last thread before hiatus.

So I was translating something called 蚂蚱酱 which, in English, is called grasshopper sauce, made by preserving/pickling grasshoppers in salt and a 20+ days of fermentation
Then I came upon 现炸的蚂蚱酱, which is deep-frying grasshoppers then cooking that together with meat froth(?), spring onions and chili to make sauce.
Apparently according to the author, the preserved one won't cause an allergic reaction but the fried one will

My question: How do I translate 现炸? Google gave me "freshly fried" which sounds weird.

    Thanks in advance~

You just use in english fresh fried there is no meaning in freshly fried how do the rise from fresh to freshly could look? You only serve hot aka fresh fried meal, even on fish market you would say this fish is fresh not one would say it is freshly only if you compare two diffrend kinds it could be useble.
    to you worlds

Just put it in as fried. If you're translating from 农园似锦, it's just to differentiate between the fermented version and the version cooked on the spot. As long as your readers can tell it's a separate version that doesn't include fermentation or the fermented sauce, you fine.
