You must be mistaken about Jimeng since the author said that Coiling dragon and Stellar transformations make up the 'Grandmist Duology'.
After this he continued on to say he had an idea for a novel he wanted to start writing about which is most likely Desolate Era.
This means that only Coiling dragon and stellar transformations are connected does it not?

Why do I feel it lacks an epilogue ? Even the author confessed it in his afterwords.

 

Im pretty sure ST cosmos was created at the same time as CD Cosmos.Hongmeng did mention a secondary cosmos filled with immortals/devils.

yeah..the Author should have made linley show off his new power by reviving Granda Doehring and The four Divine Beast in front of his family...also create 7 Overgod's in each LAW...hahahahha...just thinking thier reaction make's me laugh!

 

Don't know fam but it does say Linley travelled around in Stellar Transformation but created his own Linmeng cosmos. Linmeng didn't create ST.

Linley did create the ST world due to the fact that grand doeheng or w/e is the uncle or w/e for the love interest.. (I can't remember names) but yeee

You should be aware that the specific afterword is probably from when the author finished the novel that being in 2008. At that time it was a duology but maybe the author changed his mind afterwards. DE was finished in 2014 from what I see so it's not completely impossible for it to be connected to the other 2.

nope..i think that linley create the ST's universe...and after that only 2 Kalpas has passed since linley became one of the Grandmist Controller and then Qin yu became the third and of course Hong Meng was very happy cause he has another brother...i read the last chapter although it was in raw,but using google translate i could still understand the words..

 

the ending was rather underwhelming... i thought they would at least give us an explanation about what happens afterwards.
