Anyone else encountered the JSCoinminer on rebirth.online and if so knows if it's another hacking or if it's intentional?

Know that they have a presence here on the forum, but cannot remember their names. Anyone else who does?

For this specific website i'm not sure, but it wouldn't be the first site that's intentionally doing so. So i'd put my Nuffies on that.

Look like someone is targeting novel sites, since lots of people go there anyway. List of currently known victims:

    1st. Volare
    2nd. Shiroyukineko
    3rd. Rebirth Online.

    Hello!
We will be releasing the official statement about the matter soon.
But fortunately this time around the Miner was intentional.
Due to various Delays and some issues we had with it, we are a bit slow on the update.
It only triggers when you use AdBlocker on our site, and if you wish for it to not run on your computer, go to this link with an AdBlocker turned off:
    http://www.rebirth.online/resetflags?uid=a4089f5d2aee7092136947cb5b98bef4

If adblock is active + the link is called there will be no effect.
If adblock is not active + the link is called the flags will reset and it will get turned off.

If you are worried about the alert, we are almost 100% certain it's a false positive after doing a thorough check on the matter.
A quick and somewhat reliable way to check for such things in the future would be through here: https://sitecheck.sucuri.net/

Sorry for the late info, and please ask away in case of any more uncertainities! :)

    Best Regards,
    Zhaernon, Rebirth.Online Manager

Yeah I used to visit their site with my adblocker disabled, then the coinminer started kicking in and killing my batteries. They're off my whitelist now.

I'm glad none of my novels are on this site. I'll momentarily turn off my adblock if a site asks me to, but threatening me with a coinminer? Goodbye

I am sorry to say that but I'm fairly confident the Miner only activates when one uses Adblocker.
We have also recently limited it to not be too power-hungry.
The session might still remember the fact that you used Adblocker earlier, in which case I suggest going through the link I just provided.
It should reset the flags and whitelist your session.

Turning off Adblocker is necessary for the link I have just provided to work properly.
It will whitelist you for the entire session, and you will be able to turn on your Adblocker afterwards without it triggering the Miner again.
Sorry if I was not clear enough about it.

    UPDATE:
As a matter of fact, what I just shared is no longer applicable.
A prompt similar to the one below should be appearing from now on for AdBlocker users, just clicking "Here" will do the job and whitelist the current session.

Hope that answers all of the concerns.
