I was reading GDK when I went to the bottom of the comments and almost replied to a comment from 2 years ago. Personally I'd prefer to not have cliffhangers, however I also like the comment thread. In fact for some parts of a story it's the comments that keep me reading them. And now honestly I don't know witch one I prefer
Sorted by best to worst 1)completed novel 2)incomplete novel but being translated by a trustworthy translator 3)incomplete novel 4)completed novel with terrible translation 5)incomplete novel with terrible translation
I'd say long ongoing series assuming they update regularly. I agree with you 100% about the comments section, but I tend to avoid ongoing series that are just starting out. It's always great seeing comments for stories like Hachinan tte, Sore wa Nai Deshou!
If it’s not going to get dropped and has a good translator with constant releases, then ongoing. If not, complete as long as the translation is good.
I know this seems like a weird question, but to anyone that's reading/read GDK. Can you please explain to me what the f**k "fey" is. I've seen it on multiple chapters and can only think that it somehow describes beauty or bright. Got no clue.
I prefer complete and has a chance of getting a manga and anime so that it may potentially get licensed since then there is a near 100 percent chance of it being completely translated. we translators can be lazy at times and not finish an entire series. it is a lot of work.
This one have my thumbs... There are many hidden gem that still need to be find also a hidden gem that already being translated but with below standard translation and also those gem that still not get into the nu radar (most probably because the translator MIA)
I like reading stuff that already completed. But sometimes I got overwhelmed by the amount of stuff that I have to read. So I more prefer something that is ongoing, has already a lot of translated chapters, and also regularly updated like once a week or so.
I prefer completed because I like to binge read. So, I mostly wait until it's fully translated or pile up a number first for ongoing. But for some that are really good, I'll just read as soon as new chapter is up. But that only happens when I'm super bored and run out of novels to read.
There's something to be said about anticipating chapters and enjoying the twists and turns alongside a community.
Isn't Fey just a variarion or Fae? Fae folk or fairies are generally creatures with magical powers though they are more popularized as those tiny creatures that has wings and magic (which isn't the whole truth tbh).
I would agree that is where it originally came from, however I would argue it's used as a stand alone adjective enough to be its own word. Etymology is quite interesting, no?
