Spoiler: synopsis Amatsuki Iori was a high school student who was summoned into a parallel world and continued fighting as a Hero to save a country. As he was trying to save the world, unfortunately he was killed by his trusted fellow companions. As Iori thought that he was already dead, suddenly, when he opened his eyes, he was summoned again into the future as a Hero in order to subjugate the demon king, whom they failed to defeat in the past. Then he realize that deep inside of him, when he was once a hero commanding and leading a battle, there were the figures of his companions. [……I will make them regret betraying me] In front of Iori who was driven by his hatred then appeared the former demon king who had the same objective as him. He throws away all his ideals for his second time as a hero in this world, as he will take revenge together with the former demon king. Which?
So, he was a hero and got betrayed and killed by his companions. When he was giving his last breath he realized that he was summoned again. Then he went full vengeful and trowed away all of his ideals that he once had. After that he met the former demon lord which had the same objective as him: revenge. And... That's it? I don't really understand what's hard to understand there
