I’m easily influenced by bad reviews + unattractive summaries + I often check out the spoiler thread to make sure I won’t be disappointed in a novel but these habits cause me to be very unadventurous so I’d appreciate it if you could convince me to read a novel you like so I won’t miss out on hidden gems etc, thank you in advance! Well, i guess you should read novels in my reading list as i only add good novels that i like and mostly have more than 300 chapters, and they dont contain any harem, dark, rape, and too much faceslapping courting death young masters.. so it only contain mostly good plot and has 4+ star rating here... is it convincing enough? Edit: for romance they usually have late romance but the mc always loyal to his couple and NO polygamy
Well If I had to choose for someone else, it would be "Rise of the Shield Hero". (first novel Ive ever read). The characters are like-able (and hate-able) Aswell as it has possibly one of the most satisfying endings in any novel ive read. It also has some of the best character development.
You should definitely give Against the Gods a try. This is the most romantic novel I have ever come across; the romance in this novel is something that will put Romeo and Juliet's story to shame. The MC is a real gentleman and is also quite shy when it comes to the matter of romance. Overall, it's a good read. P.S: Be warned because I am a troll.
Savage Divinity because SD Is love SD is life. As in: In SD there is Love. In SD the characters have Life. Also, it's a nonstandard (western take) Cultivation novel. Regrettably the Sanshu arc drags along a little, but it's a character driven NonOP MC story. What more do you need? Edit: Oh, forgot to mention that it's on RRL. You're not gonna find it here.

Pet King Review by @ArgosYesu MC is a normal, lazy person who strives to take over his parent's pet shop. At first he was unwilling and only took over with respect to his parents' memories. But after getting the Pet Hunter app, his determination changes. Overall, the app doesn't do much. It can store pets and release them, and catch rare/mythological pets. The MC usually uses the latter as he takes advantage of the super pets to improve his pet shop. The MC does not just go out and sell rare pets to people. He sells normal pets and the story does a good job at describing pets and the way to properly care for them. This is what I like from novels. I should come out of such novels with greater information and knowledge than what I went in with. Since I'm allergic to fluffy pets, I don't have them. But that doesn't mean I hate pets. Read this novel if you wanna learn to love pets.
You won't go long way reading novels with that kind of attitude. Chen Yue Zhi Yao An underrated novel, in my opinion. MC's little quirk is hilarious and misunderstandings is often the best tag (or at least one of them). Might be slightly confusing, but I find reading it worth it, even if the updates are extremely slow. The mystery, comedy, and emotions of the novel are brilliantly awesome. Go for it!!!

If you can accept yaoi/gay(doesn't have to be yaoi fan though) Quickly wear the Face Of the Devil included with several short arc with no filler. Due to its veriety of world, it will keep you from getting bored. Story also progress well. The plot is good with very touching romance(especially, arc 9. THE BEST) *warning* it raised my bar so high.... Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear very relaxing to read. some cute stuff that always relieve me from stress. Also a good story for a break from those stressful/tragic xianxia whatever. Dungeon Defense to be honest, I've never read this novel yet. I think it's too short. but people keep sayin it's one of the best if not best out there. So you might give it a try.
