Cool uncommon weapons

1. Umbrellas. Just. Umbrellas. (It's iconic like Kirby's parasol or the gun umbrella in Kingsman, definitely uncommon. If you think umbrellas are not dangerous enough, try watching Another)

2. Scythe
Almost all characters who has scythe as weapons are badass AF
(Talking about Shera from Girl Who Ate Death or Shiraori from Kumo desu ga nani ka)

3. Whip
Ling Lan's favorite tool when 'teaching' her subordinates. Read INEBM.

 

Hair. I remember reading a manga (I think it was Gamaran) where there was a character that used an armor made of hair. Adapting this into something like a whip or a rod would be pretty awesome. Small ammounts, if compressed, would also be a nice alternative to shooting darts

 

whips. or chains. cool to imagine a protagonist using one in a fight. also very easy to use for both attack and defense. kinda like a second limb
