Uncertain news bout COVID-19 either affected or not: Today, many girls and boys hostellites were sick, at first we thought that it might be food-poisoning but some of us were not affected so not really food-poison ...but as the sick girls and boys came and told us bout what the doctor had said, they said that the symptoms are COVID-19 symptoms yet unguaranteed..but we're the healthy one, and the sick one are quarantined...poor girls.. So give me some info bout symptoms of COVID-19 I wonder just why are bruneians so stupid about going overseas and travels when the outside world might cause problems *hit forehead*
You need to hoard on anything you might need, flee your town and go hide in a cave for a few months. Also, take a gun with you, and keep a bullet for yourself (just in case).
Covid-19 signs and symptoms are the same as that of flu: cough, runny nose, fever, shortness of breath, sore throat, joint pains. It can be transmitted through respiratory droplets Covid-19 has a relatively lower mortality rate, increasing only for elder people (60y/o onwards). The most important thing to prevent its spread is good hygiene. Proper handwashing, avoid touching the face (eyes, nose, mouth), wearing a mask if you have a cough/runny nose, etc. Don't panic.
please listen to @Kaki-P as panicking and hoarding are not the appropriate ways of protecting yourself
Well, you know, I have heard that there's a flu season every year. Feels a lot like panic over snow fall in some European countries years back. Who cares about that white poop anyway... it's not like you have to go and bury yourself in the thing anyway; I feel much the same about that Corona flu.
"Proper hand-washing" means washing your hands with soap for at least 20 seconds. Just regular, everyday soap will do, no need for special stuff. The reason why is because the virus has an outer layer of fat molecules which protects it like a shield against the environment. Soap can melt away this fat layer, which will allow the virus to be exposed and destroyed, but the melting takes time. That's why you need to wash hands with soap for at least 20 seconds. 20 seconds is roughly the same amount of time as singing the "Happy Birthday" song twice.
“Globally, about 3.4% of reported COVID-19 cases have died. By comparison, seasonal flu generally kills far fewer than 1% of those infected.” https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/coronavirus-death-rate/
If you don't have any contact with the so infected person, you don't need to be panic. the virus spread from droplets cause by sneezing and cough. always remember to clean your hand with soap and avoid crowded places
Exercise at least 1 hour each day, stop drinking/smoking/eating junk food, don't starve yourself, eat a lot of healthy food, sleep at least 9 hours every day, relax. And you'll be fine.

At my hospital we looks for pneumonia symptoms: fever over 38, cough, and shortness of breath. If you have contact with suspected people, try taking immune booster tablets. It would help prevent viral infection and even if you got it, it won't be as severe.
