Recommendations Crafting/Crafts/Pill-Refining/Crafts Skill-Builder/Crafting VR/Farming/Utilizing lost knowledge

Hey guys,

EDIT: NOVEL DOES NOT HAVE BE VR. IT CAN BE A DIFFERENT WORLD OR SOMETHING. REPEAT, DOES NOT HAVE TO BE VR.

I'm looking for novels like the title suggests. Some novels I have already delved at that I remember at the moment:

RoyalRoadl fanfic :
Master of All, Jack of None - good example of what I like to see, too bad it ended abruptly
Insania Online - was good while it lasted but it stopped crafting so I got bored of it

Light Novels:
LMS - self-explanatory if you get up the part where MC recieves his class
Only Sense Online - highly related to the crafts
ISSTH - up to the pill refining arc
BTTH - read the manhua and the light novel (up to poison girl introduction)
World of Cultivation - not really crafting, but farming is an interesting topic too
Magi Craft Meister - too bad the updates take a while
The Alchemist God - I enjoy the medicine that he's making
Death March - there's some crafting in there
Against the Gods - sort of self-explanatory though it could use some more crafting
Ark - up there with LMS, haven't finished it or even touched Legends yet
Tensei Slime - found this to be interesting when he could make potions/medicine
Man picked up by the gods
TDG - some crafting ( demon, medicine, poison )

Some novels I forgot:
Limitless Sword God - he does some crafting based on his knowledge in making pills
WDQK - refining pills
Doulou Dalu - some weapon and poison crafting

I also noticed how I like TDG,LSG, and TTNH where the MC has some knowledge that they shouldn't have since they timetraveled.

Also LLS, he has knowledge about the eggs that was lost in time so when he combines them he has a good chance.

 

You could try VRMMO log of a middle aged man. It has both a ongoing manga adaption.

 

Magic, Mechanics, Shuraba is one that's a bit interesting and different, it falls into the crafting/research area. It's a world with magic and the protagonist happens to be one of the rare people with an affinity for working with metal, so he's good at tinkering and working with machines. Unfortunately updates have slowed/stopped. It's one of the alternate projects of the ATG translators, so perhaps when ATG is caught up progress will begin again.

 

Seiun wo kakeru- pretty much about a guy industrializing a town, so involves a lot of crafting/ blacksmith to create the tools
edit: just read the part about VR, and this's not a VR :/. Besides that still check it out it's a good read

 

I've read the manga for that. That was pretty good but pretty short. I don't think the LN goes into much more of it does it?

No no no, that's good. I was planning on reading that. It doesn't necessarily

have to be VR. I saw that and was thinking if it was good to read it and since you recommended it, that's fine.

 

If it's crafting weapons or medicine or poison,I guess there's Shen Yin Wang Zuo,Stellar Transformation,Wu Dong Qian Kun,Battle Emperor,Douluo Dalu and many others but they don't counts as VR. There's also Martial Emperor Reborn but it has only little scene when he crafted some poison. Thers's also some weapon crafting in Slave Harem in the Labyrinth of the Other World

Juvenile Medical God is pretty fun to read but the update is on the low position

Can't believe I forgot WDQK and DD. I've read both of those and yeah that's something I'm interested in too. I'll take a look at Slave Harem.

Like I stated, don't need to count as VR, just crafting or like side things, like farming. Don't want to have to read constantly battle novels, just something light that includes side things like in World of Cultivation, farming. I don't remember much crafting in SYWZ, might just be that I forgot. I'll take a look at the others!

 

If Death March is on your list, I'll recommend The New Gate.

 

Oh! I remember reading the manga for that and found it interesting. Is there a lot of crafting in it? I liked Death March too.

I want a story where the mc make at least 1/3 of the equipment he use, where he fight, where he has 1 (or more) girl interested in him, and who isn't a dense/pussy/both with girls, who isn't naive and knows minimum of caution... ... Am I asking too much??

If its just for enjoying the moment, try to take a look at Insania Online in royalroadl , not an original LN but for a fanfic its pretty good and crazy
(and after reading what you search for, i thought about it instantly lol)

 

Hahahaha, I already included that. I read it up to the point where it got weird.

Tried reading up to chapter 26 but it seems the crafting comes much later and it's a bit slow, but I'll try.
