    Do you know any other gender bender (female dressing up as male) novels you can recommend me that's not listed in NU? Well it doesn't have to be gender bender as long as there is romance involved. It's hard for me to look for novels to read as I don't know Chinese =/

    To be honest, I'm actually not that avid of a reader of romance/gender bender. However, the romance novel I'm currently reading is Golden Age Legitimate Fei, which is a really good ancient romance/reincarnation story. There's also Malicious Empress of the Military Lineage (it's also a very slow romance though). Doomed to be Cannon Fodder is pretty good and lighthearted compared to the previous two and is more romance heavy. ben guniang's only been constantly rereading this one novel ahahahaha........

    Uwuwuwuwu...maybe i'll get around to translating the more romantic chapters early on and keep it...as a spoiler...kind of thing... like a holiday reward or something (but it might be really weird to read without context?)

    uweee i'd like too but even at my fastest speed i can probably only do 4 chapters a day if i don't do anything else o(-( But i also have work...and other things....cri...

    SLAMS INTO THE THREAD!!!! GOD THE MOST RECENT UPDATE IN THE CHINESE RAWS JUST KILLED ME

    Ru furen has gotten writer's block again (on top of her computer breaking down, so her writing speed has slowed down by a lot), so this time she released an extra!

    THE EXTRA. IM DYING

    Extra chapter spoiler: Note, the extra takes place after the supposed end of the story (that hasn't happened yet) so read at your own risk; it details a lot on the male lead's identity, so if you want more clarification, just ask or look up my previous posts on the male lead

    Essentially it's a 'future' extra, after the story settles down, detailing on the marriage between Ling Lan and the Federation's marriage candidate, the first son of the Li Family - Li Mulan. SO why does Li Mulan make an appearance? Because, after all of their work, Ling Lan and Li Lanfeng have become the strongest powers within the new country established by everyone. In fear that if Ling Lan and Li Lanfeng will unite due to their rumored status as lovers, the parliament (of I assume the country they've established?) decided that the Royal Husband should not be allowed to have power in military nor political matters. So if Li Marshal wants to marry Ling Lan, he has to give up his current status and become her boy toy. As a result, they broke up.

    However, before they could take the time to lick their wounds, the Chinese Federation sent out Li Mulan, a demonic beauty and the first son of the first family's Li Clan, to marry Ling Lan. They said that her choice to marry was immediate, causing love ad hate feelings to form between the former 'couple' (Ling Lan/Li Lanfeng).

    At this point, no one has realized they've been...ultimately trolled by Li Lanfeng and Ling Lan...

    What chapters have the MC eating the ML’s tofu? :blobamused: I’ve been trying to MTL my way through but I’m getting impatient~~~ (only up to chapter 153 right now...and MTL doesn’t tell the story as enthralling as the human translated versions)

    I posted this in the novel’s discussion page but just in case anyone wants to read a manga that’s similar to this novel (the main couple has reverse gender roles:blobmelt:) => Tian Jiang Xian Shu Nan it has a modern diary setting, not futuristic like this novel

    The ML would probably kill himself first rather than do something like that to the MC. He owes her too much.
