If you are hungry and have nothing to eat other than cucumbers, dice & slice them, add a pinch of salt, Some ketchup, and voila, you have something amazing to eat.

Cucumber and ketchup sounds gross... better w mayo or tartar sauce... or just soaked in a bit of vinegar sugar salt to pickle

Why stop at cucumbers? You should go a bit further. See those grass in your lawn? It's time for you to spread mayonnaise on them and eat. Yes. Get on all fours and munch munch munch. Make sure it's free from pesticide and herbicide.

Herbicide tastes terrible. Ai-chan would know, a caterer we hired for an office party used the same container he previously used to store herbicide to store cordials for our drinks. The entire office went sick and everyone went on paid sick leave. Since it was so close to Christmas, the boss just gave up and let us have leave until after the new year.

Then, this cuisine would be even easier. Eat salt. Hope you're not a slug.

    :hmm:
    .... *plans to try everything*

I usually eat cucumbers with lime juice and salt
    or balsamic vinegar
or some tajin (though I don't like it on cucumbers much, works better on other things, like watermelon or jicama)
I never would have thought of ketchup, mayo, black pepper or curd. I don't have curd though (and am not sure what that is exactly). Would lemon curd work? Or plain yogurt, or greek yogurt? @Ddraig

So your saying murder a cucumber and defile it with tomato blood?
    Sounds reasonable
but it doesn't taste like how I imagined.

Better to just use a murdered pickle, some hamburger meat, some bread, a dash of crushed lettuce, sliced up tomato and then we can add the blood of the tomato and some creme of a whipped and beaten egg white with oil (Mayo)

Yeah :blobsweat_2:, I only tried lemon curd for the first time recently, cause I saw it while shopping and thought 'what the heck is this?' so I bought it, but it's definitely very different from yogurt. I found out later it's pretty much the same as what is put in lemon merengue pies as the filling, so it tastes just like that: lemony, custardy, smooth, and too-sweet. I thought it might be related because of the name, but I guess not.
The article says dahi is homemade yogurt, so storebought will probably taste different, but closest I can get, so I'll try it with that.
