But at the end WMW end up by becoming one of the most popular novel. Honestly i’m amazed by how well he managed to exploit the ideas and bundled them together.
I went into the novel with the belief that I was gong to read a wuxia novel. It was all about who has the bigger muscles. Bruce Lee comes to mind.. Chinese martial arts is not boxing or brawling. It is disappointing. Having a protagonist learn 100 different martial arts is no different from having a harem with 100 women. At some point, they lose their uniqueness and even get forgotten by the author. Reverend Insanity is a good example of how you avoid that. Specialization makes a character unique and recognizable. I think he is talking about Tales of Herding Gods
Lord of the Mysteries. The tarot club can be considered as a cult O "the fool" who doesn't belong to this era Thou art the mysterious ruler above the grey fog King of black and yellow who wields good luck The adorer of himself The penniless god The god of poverty Give us your blessing Damn, i'm starting to behave like "hanged-man" lmao
I'm also reading this novel, but I just can't understand this King of black and yellow who wields good luck line. Lol But it's a good read. MC is one of the best pretender ever XD
How come you believed that’s wuxia with the xuanhuan tag :v Are we really talking about the same novel? Well, probably our pov are just different.
I am saying that I was recommended the novel as a wuxia. So I had different expectations. Hence why I got disappointed. Doesn't make the story bad. Just not my cup of tea. It does have wuxia elements but they were interpreted in a xianxia/ xuahuan way
Tales of Herding Gods it isn wuxia or xianxia or xuanhua (whatever you write this) its an adventure story plus mystery story that have martial arts background
