While the current chapters are funny, the story isn't moving forward much. Does the pacing improve later? Does the MC's cultivation increase to a good extent? No deep spoilers are necessary, just those that touch on these two questions.
Spoiler It's hard to answer: - MC's cultivation increase to an extent, but it is not good enough. He constantly had to face much stronger enemies. - The story line, in my opinion, didn't "improve". It's rarely move forward, but turn left and right then go around. More 1800 chapters, but in-universe it just 5 months passed, more and more mysteries. Like a quote from Doctor Who "it's a timey-whiney ball"
Spoiler In terms of cultivation speed vs the time flow within the novel, it is very fast. It only took a few months for the main character to reach a cultivation level that normally requires hundreds of years to reach. But if you're looking at cultivation speed vs published chapters, it can be considered to be rather slow. There's been more than 1800 chapters published but only around 5 to 6 months has passed inside the novel.

I started reading this, this passed few days. After persisting until chapter 100, I decided to drop it CONSIDERING that there is NOT MUCH of a progress and its more like a daily record aka Diary. MC is still weak
