Venerable White is a pretty good character. I wonder if after the movie, he is going to hole up for another few hundred years cultivating and be out of the story. It'll give the author a reason to push him aside and introduce new elements but I would be sad.

 

This was actually an intersection of their luck. White wanted a good source of magic wood, he got it.
Shuang needed for the dragon to come after him not a tree subordinate, and she looks like she is going to call for help from said dragon

They absolutely are. It’s going to be hilarious to see the guy’s expression when Sr White turns up with the demodragon

 

Am I the only one who thought the title was referring to something White Crane was thinking about Senior White? As a response to Fairy Bai Xue I mean.

We all know Shuhang is a perfect fit for the role since it is one destined to suffer greatly

Bahaha, Sr White is a hilarious character. It’ll be sad to have him vanish from the story for a long, long time after this movie arc-since he plans on going into seclusion afterwards and probably won’t show up for a very long time

Shuhang has an aura of "never waste any revival talisman". Every time he got one he will be killed

 

Yeah his seclusion plans have me worried that he'll disappear from the story. It would be a shame.

Most of this novel comical key elements happens due to white. The novel is just different without him...

 

I haven't read any spoilers so I don't know what will happen. But the author seems very resourceful. We will get our comic relief one way or another.

 

Maybe we'll meet Dou Dou's husband after White leaves.
