Promise and Waiting is pretty much an Eternal Life Being who has the special abilities her left and right wings as well as her forehead mark have given her, and the Karmic Virtue Fat Whale seems to have formed a connection with Senior Eat Melon? I feel like Eat Melon is bound to become significant to Shuhang considering the karma rope connecting the two of them. I'd also say the Karmic Virtue Fat Whale's ability to devour stuff and store it all inside its body was a special ability of it as well, but Fairy Promise and Waiting has been doing that all along with Scarlet Firmament Sword. Though, it was because of the Fat Whale that the Heavenly Tribulation Thunder got converted into the Karmic Virtue Thunder Tree, so I'm thinking it's able to serve a similar purpose to Shuhang's fat whale gold core.

Ok, So I'm only in the 1700's right now, so I can only partially answer the first one. Ye Si left due to somewhat unexplained reasons, She joined up with Daoist Priest Scarlet Firmament and some other people in a group called "Heavenly Way Must Step Down Alliance", and did not want Shuhang to be involved. Fairy Cheng Lin played a part in this decision, as she is shown talking to her after she left Shuhang. She did meet him again some time after she erased (More like blurred really) his memories of her once when he and Doudou were in space.

As for the second question, For Song ONE it's because that is one of his Dao Names, Tyrant Saber Song ONE. I don't know why that one is capitalized, but it's Song One because the Nine Provinces Seniors suggested it be Tyrant Saber Thrice Song, and he did not want to be like Mad Saber Three Waves. For Pavilion Master Chu Two, She was heavily injured, leaving only her head. Shuhang moved her head into his Core World, and Clear Water Pavilion started resurrecting her. This resulted in a Doppleganger of Pavilion Master Chu without a head, and was dubbed Pavilion Master Chu Two, as she is different from Pavilion Master Chu in quite a few ways.

 

The Two for Chu Two is more to diffentiate her from the other Senior Chu rather than being a part of her Dao name, mind you.

 

Song One vs Song ONE

At first, White recommended Tyrant Sabre Song Three (霸刀宋三; Bà Dāo Sòng Sān) as Shuhang’s dao name. The ‘Three’ in the name refers to the Three Strikes Law (事不过三; shì bùguò sān). However, the name was rejected by Shuhang and White change it into Tyrant Sabre Song One (霸刀宋一; Bà Dāo Sòng Yī). White then capitalised the ‘One’, making the dao name as Tyrant Sabre Song ONE (霸刀宋壹; Bà Dāo Sòng Yī).

Song ONE used a different character (壹; Yī) from Song One (一; Yī). This character (壹; Yī) is also used as banker’s anti-fraud numeral.

The HTL glossed over this fact and made no distinction between One (一; Yī) and ONE (壹; Yī).

One vs Two

Once any individual became the Heavenly Way (天道; Tiān Dào), that individual will be splitted into two, One is the Heavenly Way and the Two is the Nine Serenities’ counterpart, the Ruler of the Nine Serenities (九幽主宰; Jiǔ Yōu Zhǔzǎi).

We speculated that the Ones are the Yang, while the Twos are the Yin.

Pavilion Lord Chu vs Pavilion Lord Chu Two

Pavilion Lord Chu Two isn’t the doppelgänger of Pavilion Lord Chu, but she supposed to be the new Pavilion Lord Chu. If according to the plan, Pavilion Lord Chu One’s body will dissipate and reforms as Pavilion Lord Chu Two.

The process was interrupted by Blockhead Song at the last moment, leaving Pavilion Lord Chu One only with her head and Pavilion Lord Chu Two headless.

 

Why did Heavenly Emperor want Shuhang's Lotus? How is it more important than her Way? Just got to 1988 and I just don't see how anything he has could be worth her Way.
Also, His 3rd Life Wheel (Karmic Virtue Diamond Spirit Lake) was called a Page Wheel, more specifically Golden Book Page Wheel. Any relation to Ye Si's Golden Book? This happened in chap 1970.
