Forgotten Title Cultivation novel where MC seeks for set of flying daggers inheritance

I remember reading a novel where MC gets a dagger which happens to be a relic of some ancient cultivator and tries to find others that ae part of the set. anyone have an idea of the novel.

in one situation someone wants to take MC as a disciple but gets rejected and he shares about the history of the daggers and where he might find some clues about them.
