    As the title states, I want to know the worst sentences you found in a novel that made you laugh, cringe and question why it existed.
    I found mine in a rather questionable book I read because it had very "fun" tags.

    The word 'sorry' in Japanese novels.

    They say too much sorry in just one paragraph and that makes me annoyed

    I'm reading "The Legitimate Daughter Doesn’t Care", right now. Though, I finished reading the translated part posted on NU and continueing reading it on mtl.

    I can't remember the chapter now. But it was the scene where the nanny, which switch the original Mu daughter was going through verdict.

    Mc's older twin brother said that he will place the nanny not on prison but within 'lunatic assylum'. Theirs nothing wrong with this sentence. But when I passed by the 'lunatic assylum', I just can't believe that the translator will use that word.

    I even went back on the sentence over and over. And at last I laughed hard.

    Hehehe.

    Esp, when you read the whole dialogue where lunatic was used repeatedly. It's just kind of funny.

    "Reliance sect meaning is to rely on someone" (is that the exact word? Can't recall vividly) that single sentence kept me away from ISSTH even till today.

    Its from a book I was reading when I turned filters the other way. This was at the top in bad ratings so I checked it out. Its fucked up.
