The main aspect of the drama was supposed to be about romance I think. It's a spin on the mythological tale of what happens when a Korean goblin (is this what they call them? They're more like guide deities) happens to take a mortal spouse.
i remembered why i dont more watch kr/jp/cn TVdrama.
the acting, the script, the history... superb.
0:36 i could almost feel the rusty tasty of blood coming from my throat from the cringe.
so they are kinda shinigamis and there is forced romance???? hhmm... so... bleach?
I will never understand ,Why do Korean men apply lipstick ?
Don't ask, we are better off not knowing.
I hated the romance between the the first leads.Partly because of the age difference and partly because the FL was so annoying
It's a fine series. I wasn't planning on watching it until I saw an old friend discussing another series from that writer(?) I think being developed and being excited for it due to Goblin's quality. So I gave it a try.
It's indeed a good story, and finely made (for the most part), but what annoyed me the most is how stretched out the episodes are - disregarding the nearly 10min recap at the beginning of each episode, and the stupid idea of replaying whole scenes after what was a place for the commercial, there are also scenes which seem to have been made solely for the purpose of meeting some stupid episode length quota. Scenes which, if cut, would've made for a much more enjoyable viewing experience.
This is basically only my 2nd KR Drama - the first one I was able to watch almost in one go (3 days I think), while I've been watching this one over a nearly two month period already. I'm not dropping it, but I can't really watch more than 2-3 eps in one go (and then I need a 1-2 week break xD).
The ending was so unbelievably shit and made of asspulls... I still can't get over it. I wanted to erase this drama from my memory the moment it ended. That ending... The very textbook example of 'forced drama'.
