I know the title isn't catchy and is also misleading and most people will not come to this thread, but whatever. Anyways, I was wondering what's your favorite Genre of music, currently. Also I want to know how your taste in music has changed as you grew up and link your favorite song for now. Anyways while im currently writing this im listening to "By Myself" by FIDLAR the song is hilarious.

 

I don't really have a preference so long as it has a proper melody.

So I just tend to listen to the top hits. When I want to be a normal person, that is.

 

Im kind of nervous to ask what you listen to when you don't want to be a normal person.

I'm into a little of everything but at this moment mainly jpop or japanese songs. They're kinda weird but somehow I dig it.

Oh same lol, I used to listen to Jpop, but I felt out of it.

 

If I'm listening music while I'm studying, it would be songs that I won't understand what the lyrics is, *cough* jpop *cough* so I don't start thinking about the lyrics. for some reason

 

I was trying so hard to hide it, but I guess it wasn't needed lol

I listen to Japanese music a lot. And it hasn’t really changed from when I was younger!
Right now I’m in love with this song! Kenshi Yonezu-sama’s WONDERFUL LEMON!!

 

For me it would depend, sometimes i just put the same music going on for hours, it seemed easier to remember the subject by associating it to that music.

 

Oh I know this song, its so good. The voice is so soothing. The instrumentals are great to.

Love this song, even tough i don't understand anything the catchy beat and the piano are awesome

 

Once read a study about eating a gum stick when studying and eating the same flavor during a test or stuff helped to remember stuff, so i tried with music and for me it works since listening the whole day will make me sing it the next day too

And to be more specific about my tastes. I love any and all music. I listen to a bunch of different language songs lol.
They sound nice. But I mostly enjoy well, emotional songs. That help to make me feel and full up the void inside.

For emotional ones really like the ones from gumi or vocaloid really good always have some story.
