Discussion Dark Souls 3 - Build Advice

I have been having problems playing DS3. With a Strength - Dex Quality build I powered through the game easily using a longsword, but I was so bored by the Abyss Watchers that I restarted with a dex - luck build. I found it quite fun and I got a lot of rare drops, but it became hard to progress as I couldn't meet the increasingly expensive dex - strength requirements to use weapons after increasing luck.

Does anyone have a fun build suggestion for me? Please include the weapon and some stats to aim for, with the full build being somewhere between sl 70 and 120.

Dude, just use Anri's straight sword. Or infuse anything with Hollow gems. Also I don't see why you would even raise dex since most luck weapons have a really shitty scaling with physical stats.

Straight swords are kind of iffy for me at the moment. On the one hand, most have an L2 R1 guard break weapon skill that I just adore. On the other hand all I have to do is just R1 spam to win in PVP.

Way to get the most out of it is to press L1 then L2 to stack bleed weapon art is not parryable. By the way this build is really squishy.

one thing if you find a red scaf in a chest don't use it as a slip

 

personally i use mirrah armor , black blade ( a katana) and the dragonslayer greatshield
i have a endurance /strenght build even if now i invest in intelligence in my NG++ ; i found most magic to be boring apart from some late game spells even if i like black fire spell and some thunder based spell

Astora Greatsword:
-Rolling attack comes out fast and is considered and thrust attack for some reason.
-It's an Ultra GS weapon so Hornet Ring with it will hurt more.
-Sometimes Hyper armor punish is just better.

Warden Twinblades:
-Bleed infusion makes bleed a lot deadlier.
-It's a good weapon to finish off people.
-Sometimes a fast weapon is a better choice to use.

 

Wardens twin blades with hollow is good bleed luck...

 

I like the bandits knife bleed build fun to use

 

Use a bleed build if you're aiming to kill a boss within 1 minute flat (not literally) but make sure you have a phantom there to tank some hits, cause you will run out of stamina pretty fast with the Warden Twin blades +10 and Carthus Rogue on them. Or you can use the Dragonslayer GreatAxe +5, it does 700+ damage if you have both STR/DEX at 40, that's what I used through most of the game for PvE.
