The bright red/green/blue is still the same from the default theme, and the text on it is white, and burns my eyes. How about changing the colors so they're not so intense? Jeez.
I get that you're still being hateful because of this thread: https://forum.novelupdates.com/posts/4599526/ but come on, you're a member from 2015 and you should know better. but it's pretty simple to fix and it's a user option. I would help but you're kinda annoying to be honest.
I don't get why you think I'm being hateful or anything silly like that. It's just the middle of the night, decided to read some stories I hadn't caught up on NU in a while, and realized my eyes were burning, so went to dark mode. I'm just grouchy, and did not find any obvious solution to change those colors. If they can be changed, maybe that option should be in the same place the dark style can be enabled? My being a long-time member doesn't mean I've familiarized myself with every corner of NU's settings, especially since I haven't read a lot around here in the last couple years or so.

The settings that you have is not the normal settings. I am guessing you changed them once and forgot.
That's likely the case. Kinda feel silly having forgotten, but it was 1 in the morning, so again, I was feeling really grouchy and wanted to read.
to take this complaint to a good place. my suggestion is to seperate Darkmode readinglist color from lightmode? now the color is the same in booth modes (tried it now), this means you need to manually select it eachtime if you still want to use this feature maybe add the ability to choose a secondary color for darkmode
That sounds like a good idea. It'll be great to have a complete separate reading list color for the dark mode as I believe it would be quite a hassle to keep on changing reading list color each time we switch day/night modes.
