LCD DD:2.5 - Legend of the Divine Realm

Hello fellow readers, i decided to create this lcd thread as @timbone is currently translating this short novel at http://www.xiaoxiaonovels.com/dd-2-5-ldr-chapter-1/ for those interested!!

The story is set after DD2 - The Peerless Tang-Sect and before DD3 - Legend of the Dragon King; It has only 120 chapters and is truly worth reading to get a better handle on the events that may make you curious regarding dd3... i.e.

why does the mc eat so much, how did he get the powers of golden dragon inside his body...

Honestly, it will spoil a LOT of stuff in LDK if you read it first. I'd read LDK for a bit before reading DD2.5... Like, just the MC himself gets spoiled in a major way...

 

the author created it before dd3 so i presume he did it so that he would not need to waste chapters for why some things happened and i doubt it will spoil that much as far as i am aware the only thing that ties this to dd3 is the last few chapters...

 

New chapter new revelations; we learnt what the power rankings are among the council and what happened to the God kings also a side note for those interested I believe that the God of evil here is the mc from God of Wine / Jiu Shen ...

 

I wanna read it but the ads are so abnoxious that I can't read it

 

strange, do you mean on the xiaoxiao site right? because for me when i am on the chapter i only have one ad on the right side of the screen and thats it...

 

I get giant ads that literally block the screen

Oh how I envy your lack of ads. I tried it again a few minutes ago and got less ads but still more than you. At least it's manageable now.

 

Ads have been turned off.
Was told that it would be non intrusive but that wasn't the case.
Only one ad at the side bar and before disqus.
I wanted to make a poll and find out if readers preferred to put the translation on hold since DD 2 was dropped and pick another novel.
Same length of about 100 chapters but it will be a standalone novel

 

its your choice really, if you feel like it is not worth doing this at the moment might as well put it on hold...

 

Trying to get feedback from readers and most seem to put this on hold until DD 1 is finished at least

 

now that will take quite a while (dd1)... and who knows when DD2 would get picked up...

 

If at least one person is reading DD 2.5, I won't put it on hold.

if you continue, like i said when you picked it up (at least i think i did anyway), i would stick with the translation because; it is pointless waiting for the dd and dd2 because lets be honest at least 1.5 years until dd finishes and with dd2, i dont know exactly but minimum 2 to 3 years... as for spoilers; is it that big of a spoiler that the mc of both stories won or is still alive? its not like the story will tell the readers exactly what happened in the previous 2 stories because the author expected the readers to have read it or if they didnt he still left out most of the details anyway just like with dd3, it only gives slight links to the previous 2 without spoiling them whatsoever... also readers of dd3 would surely be interested as lets be honest it will give them a bit of knowledge about some info on the background of the mc because what would have been the point of making dd2.5 if it wasnt to give a slight teaser to dd3?

also totally unrelated to dd2.5; have i in this post used the word 'Honest-tly' a bit to much?

 

Haha point taken. I think a petition might do better than just a pick up request.
I would pick up DD 2 but I prefer to pick a series I know I can get translated within a year. The goal is to finish this before the year runs out

 

Guys i’ve started reading douluo dalu 2.5 but the translations stopped at chapter 90...can anyone give me some links of the whole translation up to 130? Reading machine translation gives me a headache....thanks and more power...and btw the link of xiaoxiaonovels i think is broken...
