Oh, you actually wanted an answer? Sigh, fine!

Cloudflare is a service that helps mitigate Denial of Service attacks (where a bunch of zombie computers are forced to access a server so many times it can't catch up and crashes). It is checking if your browser is a potential zombie client trying to attack the server.

Well it is checking if your browser is a zombie. Don't worry you aren't alone. Lately it's been fairly aggressive.

It's exactly what on the tin can said. Protection against DDos.

DDos is a network attack that uses mass concurrent connection requests to certain network server, to overwhelm and make it overloaded. Usually caused by either malicious group via botNet, or orchestrated attack by many users (which is the chance is pretty low).

Opera Mini's Data Saving Mode works like VPN; it sends your request through a special server, receives the data, then recompress it before sending it to your device. DDos Protection method will detect this as malicious request (since there would be many requests originated from the same address), so it blocks the request, hence the inability to access NU.

Edit: Try turning off any Data Saver mode your browser has (Chrome's Data Saver mode possibly works differently, so it was safe) or any VPN you might turned on.

Can't. Too broke to book a ticket.

Just try it though. Some VPNs got away with it. I think it depends on where the server is and how many requests to NU it sends.
